It was a fateful Saturday, 8/21/21, when Anne and Phong met at Yola’s café for what they thought was just a simple coffee date—even though Anne does not drink coffee. What was initially meant to be only an hour ended up being two and a half hours and a start to their love story. Right after the date, Phong asked Anne for a second date, and she said yes. From that point on, it has been a series of milestones and challenges and a great story.

On January 1, 2022, Phong received a heartwarming blessing from Anne’s mom. It wasn't until January 25, 2022, that Anne officially said yes, with the unwavering support of friends and family on both sides. Their love, nurtured by this strong support system, continued to grow each day. Like any relationship, theirs had its share of challenges, but they faced them head-on, learning more about themselves and each other in the process.

On April 20, 2023, Phong proposed to Anne, and she said yes. A month later, Phong, Anne, and the parents on both sides went on a trip together to Vietnam and had an engagement/wedding ceremony for Anne’s family. Since they first started dating, they have shared a love for movies, cooking, and travel, which has brought them even closer. The couple's shared experiences and adventures have strengthened their bond and enriched their love story.

On January 18, 2025, Anne and Phong will embark on their official new start as husband and wife, ready to face the future together.
