The James Whitcomb Riley Boyhood Home and Museum of the famed “Hoosier Poet " will take you back to life in the 1850s and ’60s. The home provides an opportunity to view life from the poet’s perspective as he grew up and as an adult later in life by offering a glimpse into a pioneer-era homestead, including family items that influenced James’ life and poetry.
Beckenholdt Park is a 75-acre park featuring 2 wetlands, a reforestation area, native prairie and grasslands, a native tree walk, a fishing pond, the Beckenholdt Pavilion and Amphitheater, and paved and unpaved trails.
