Tori and I both attended Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. We met at one of the favorite local bars in December of 2012. I was a senior and she was a sophomore. I was old enough to be in a bar...and she was not.

I was standing at the bar having a conversation with some friends when I looked down the bar and saw the most beautiful girl I had ever seen talking to one of my friends. Now normally I wouldn't have had the confidence to go up to her, but 2-3 (maybe 4-5) drinks had provided me with enough liquid courage to go up and talk to her. Let me paint the picture...

- Guy walks past two girls at a bar

- Guy performs an awkward spin move, almost knocking three people over in the process

- Girls look at guy with a confused/funny look on their faces

- Guy nudges friend to PLEASE PLEASE introduce him to her friend

- The three of them take a shot, order a new round of drinks, and then make their way to the dance floor.

- Tori and I then spent the rest of the night laughing, dancing, and serenading each other to the Backstreet Boys... and as they say, the rest is history.

Since that day our relationship has evolved from a mutual crush to a beautiful marriage. Tori is my best friend, the world's best dog mom (trust me our beagle Charlie would attest to this), and the love of my life. I thank God every day that of all the people in the world she choose me, and I cant wait to see what the future has in store for us!
