AirBnbs on the Water
Overnight Accommodations - AirBnb / Vrbo:
For anyone who is coming with a large group or is trying to make the most out of the trip, an AirBnb or VRBO might be a great option.
Smith lake has a plethora of absolutely gorgeous properties to choose from that are a little closer to where the festivities will be taking place.

What to Expect:
- Waterfront access with a gorgeous view
- Your own private dock and deck
- Multiple bedrooms for large groups
- Fully functional kitchen
- Furnished Living room with entertainment
(some have hot tubs and other fun stuff too)
- Pros: Closer, More Luxurious, More Fun
- Cons: More expensive and less feasible if your party is less than 4 people

Smith Lake Kicks Ass
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cullman, an IHG Hotel
Recommended for guest who are flying into Huntsville AL or driving in from north of Alabama. Cullman is located about 40 minutes north of Lewis Smith Lake, so it's located on the way down to party central.
Comfort Suites Cullman I-65 Exit 310
Recommended for guest who are flying into Huntsville AL or driving in from north of Alabama. Cullman is located about 40 minutes north of Lewis Smith Lake, so it's located on the way down to party central.
Hampton Inn Cullman

Recommended for guest who are flying into Birmingham AL or driving in from south of Alabama. Jasper is located about 40 minutes south east of Lewis Smith Lake, so it's located on the way down to party central.

Rental Cars - Huntsville
Unfortunately, due to the logistical challenges, I don't believe I will be able to provide any Airport shuttle accommodations. The best solution will most likely be to rent a vehicle.
With that being said, I intend to build a database of everyone's flight information once people start confirming dates and flights. This way I can provide a directory of people's arrival and departure times in case folks would like to coordinate a carpool solution. No pressure either way, but I figured it might be a nice thing to have. If you'd like to try and carpool, just share your flight information with me (prestonandkeelybooth@gmail.com).
Sometimes an airport rental is the easiest option, but I have used Turo.com (independent rental service like VRBO or Airbnb) before with great success if you'd to check that out as well.
