September is a wonderful time of year to visit!

 Bozeman is a friendly town located 59 miles from Pony. Bozeman Main Street is filled with great restaurants, shops and boutiques. Looking for a good burger? Try Bobs Burgers or Teds. Want some phenomenal pizza? Mackenzie River is the place for pizza and pasta. Don't forget a delicious ice cream cone from Sweet Peaks. And make sure to stop in at Murdoch's Ranch and Home, our favorite store!

Looking for a hike?
 The Lewis and Clark State Park is located 20 miles from Pony. Enjoy a stroll to the mouth of the Lewis and Clark Caverns where a spelunking guide will give you a fun tour deep into the caverns. The Buffalo Jump State Park is also a fun place to hike and explore. It is 41 miles from Pony. There are beautiful views of the Madison River Valley. 

 Don't forget about Yellowstone National Park! The west entrance through West Yellowstone is the closest. It is 104 miles from Pony or 90 miles from Bozeman. The west entrance dumps you right into the center of the volcanic thermals. Old Faithful is only a few miles from the entrance. West Yellowstone is a fun little town to eat and shop as well. 

 Don't forget to stop in at the famous Pony Bar! Located in the heart of Pony, its doors are always open and there are cold drinks inside! Harrison Diner has great burgers and breakfast. They are only open until 3PM. They are located 7 miles from Pony.
