Things To Do in Austin 

Downtown Austin is filled with a ton of fun activities!

Active&nbsp;Activities~&nbsp;the&nbsp;Roy Butler Hike & Bike Trail&nbsp;(bike rentals available), kayaking/canoeing&nbsp;on the Colorado River&nbsp;(also rentals available), hiking&nbsp;the Green Belt, &nbsp;exploring & swimming&nbsp;Zilker Park, or&nbsp;simply downloading one of the many scooter&nbsp;apps and zipping&nbsp;around town! They're a big thing here. You'll see. Scooter Safe Y'all!&nbsp;

Night Life Activities & Dining options&nbsp;are bountiful!&nbsp;Make sure you bring a loose pair of pants to eat until your heart is content. We are the&nbsp;home to the&nbsp;BBQ and some bomb-diggity Mexican food. For BBQ we highly recommend Terry Black's on Barton Creek Blvd&nbsp;(BEST&nbsp;BBQ&nbsp;WE'VE&nbsp;EVER&nbsp;HAD).&nbsp; For Mexican fare try El Alma,&nbsp;&nbsp;Polvo's Mexican Restaurant, or ATX&nbsp;Cucina.&nbsp;They're all fantastic.&nbsp;&nbsp;Congress Avenue is also hoppin' with late night&nbsp;activities & food;&nbsp;some of our favorites include&nbsp;Home Slice (NY&nbsp;Style&nbsp;Pizza) and&nbsp;HopDoddys (Burgers). There are still so many that&nbsp;we haven't tried yet! If you find something incredible, let us know. :)&nbsp;Last&nbsp;but not least, check out Rainy Street and 6th St.-&nbsp; Oh, and if you go to Rainy Street during prime hours, stop by the pink donut truck and get some&nbsp;donuts.&nbsp;Make sure they're hot! You&nbsp;won't regret it.&nbsp;

Groceries & Healthy Eats~ Healthy eating options are abundant;&nbsp;check them out online. We eat at Whole Foods Market&nbsp;(WFM) on North Lamar Blvd all&nbsp;the time. Austin is home to WFM headquarters and the grocery store is like none other. They have an&nbsp;incredible salad bar/hot bar, and convenient&nbsp;&nbsp;iPad Cafe ordering.&nbsp;Take your seat and hang out upstairs on the rooftop&nbsp;terrace. Whole Foods&nbsp;also has&nbsp;some&nbsp;wine, bbq, and seafood&nbsp;cafe's.&nbsp;

Austin International Airport will be the most convenient airport.-&nbsp;15&nbsp;min away from Downtown via Uber/Car.&nbsp;-Renting a car is not&nbsp;necessary.&nbsp;-Uber & Lyft approx. $15-$20 from Airport to Downtown- Taxi's are always available at airport&nbsp;for $30 to Downtown&nbsp;- The Fairmont Concierge will provide black car pick up service through their private transportation company,&nbsp;&nbsp;$85 ( for 3 seats). -There will be bus transportation provided by the hosts&nbsp;from Fairmont Hotel Downtown to Camp Lucy and back at the end of the night. 

-Bus will depart from The Fairmont Hotel at approx. 5:30PM&nbsp;

-Bus will&nbsp;depart from Camp Lucy back to The Fairmont Hotel at 10:45pm & 12:15pm

-Renting a car is not necessary &nbsp;- a car may be convenient at times but we find Uber/Lyft and the scooters to be the most fiscal to get around town.

-Note:&nbsp;Almost all of our guests will be staying Downtown at the Fairmont or the Holiday Inn Express (see our guest accommodations page).&nbsp;Some guests and the wedding party will stay on site the night of the wedding.&nbsp;

Camp Lucy

On the night of the wedding, the bride and groom will be staying overnight&nbsp;on site with some of&nbsp;the wedding party and a few others. Limited availability. Please text&nbsp;us at 847.254.1385 for support booking a room on site. The rate is $179/night. Must book before 6/13/19.

**Transportation will be provided to and from Downtown Austin&nbsp;for those who wish to remain in the hotels.**
