Mike and Rachael met back in 2015 in a women's studies class at UConn. After Mike's persistent chase, Rachael finally gave in and started dating him in the fall of 2015. Mike graduated the spring of 2015 and Rachael graduated the following spring of 2016.

After getting jobs in Hartford, Rachael and Mike both moved to West Hartford with friends after college. They got sick of deciding who was going to go over who's house and moved in together to a multi-family Mike bought in New Britain. Rachael then copied Mike and bought her own multi-family in New Britain and had Mike move in with her. After getting sick of sharing walls with tenants, they decided to settle down and buy a single family house together in West Hartford the summer of 2020.

They have been living in West Hartford ever since with their dog Max.

On October 15th, 2022 Mike finally popped the question in Saratoga Springs, NY at none other then Saratoga National Golf Course - and the rest was history!
