Can I travel the day of the wedding?

Yes, however we do recommend coming to Friday Harbor on Thursday if possible. If you plan to come on Friday (day of the wedding) we recommend taking an early ferry and making a ferry reservation. The last ferry departs the island back to Anacortes at 10pm, so we recommend staying on the island the night of the wedding. FYI - the ferries sometimes are down for maintenance unexpectedly and get cancelled, so coming on Thursday is best to guarantee to get there for the wedding!

Is there a dress code?

Semi-formal (or whatever you are most comfortable in!). The ceremony will be outside by the water, so please dress accordingly. We are crossing our fingers for good weather, but will be having our ceremony outside with a beautiful view rain or shine. If there is rain predicted we will provide umbrellas.

Why is my whole family not invited?

As much as we would love to have all of our family and friends there, we made the decision to have a micro wedding (as close as we could get to an elopement). This was a tough decision for us and we appreciate your understanding! We plan to have a "reception" back home at a later date with all our family and friends to celebrate!

Can I take videos and photos during the ceremony?

We would love an "unplugged" ceremony at Lime Kiln State Park. Our photographer is very talented and we will share photos as soon as possible. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want!
