Due to unforeseen circumstances the wedding venue and reception have moved to Serendipity (2640 W Kiltie Ln, Flagstaff AZ), ceremony will still take place at 5pm today. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with CDC social distancing guidelines, we have decided to reschedule our wedding, exactly two years past our original date. While our wedding was supposed to be June 12, 2020, we have too many loved ones who are in the healthcare profession, are in an at risk age/health group, have fallen on hard times financially, or are otherwise impacted by this. We want to be able to share our special day with everyone when our world has recovered. We also want to provide an ample amount of time for people to reschedule, and we apologize if this has caused any inconveniences. Thank you to everyone who has sent us words of encouragement during this time. We appreciate the support and we are excited to share our love with you on June 12, 2022.

Sam and Rachel got married in a small private ceremony on June 12, 2020. They still wish to celebrate and share their love, and will have a vow renewal ceremony on June 12, 2022, with their daughter Gwendolyn in attendance (and probably star of the show!)

To ensure the safety of all guests and vendors, you may be required to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or, if you are not yet vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event date, to meet venue, state, and basic safety requirements. If you are sick, please stay home!

Sam and Rachel met through a mutual friend in Flagstaff in 2017. They enjoyed a beer together at Hops on Birch, and then made plans to eat Thai food together for lunch the next day for their first date.

Sam proposed to Rachel on September 8, 2019 at Roger's Lake in Flagstaff. They were hiking Gold Digger Trail, which is the first hike they had ever done together. Their good friend, and bridesmaid, Kelsey D'Angelo, went full stealth mode and hid in the bushes to film this moment.

A lot has changed since Sam and Rachel got married in 2020! Gwendolyn Cait Williams was welcomed into the world by Sam and Rachel on November 26, 2021. She is the light of their life and will play an important part in the vow renewal ceremony in 2022.
