HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM! Experience an immersive learning center about space, astronauts, and science. Johnson Space Center even provides the chance to be able to take a closer look into the Mission Control room, NASA facilities, and meeting a real astronaut.
Not only are the Astros the best team in the world, but going to a professional baseball game is fun too! Indulge on all that yummy stadium food in H-Towns "juice box" and enjoy watching America's favorite pastime.
Moody Gardens was essentially Rachel's second home growing up. She volunteered there for almost 5 years, working up close and personal with the animals and biologists. Here, there are 3 pyramids: the aquarium, the rainforest, and the discovery center. This place serves a conservation center for endangered species, so the animals are always coming and going! There are lots of educational shows and even opportunities to put your hand in the touch tank!
This event actually takes place at the exact airfield the reception will be! Ellington Field displays current and previous aircrafts, and even let you climb into some of them! Typically, there is a flyover show by the US Air Force Thunderbirds or the NAVY Blue Angels, so be sure to bring ear protection. This event takes place the weekend after our wedding festivities.
There is almost always good live music options in or near Houston! Keep an eye out for your favorite artists to be playing at any of Houston's venues, such as Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Toyota Center, and NRG stadium.

Kemah Boardwalk is exactly as fun as it sounds! It is home to a handful of waterfront restaurants and tons of amusement rides and rollercoasters. Rachel had her 17th birthday party here where Trent also attended!
