We first met on March 11th, 2018. Our church was on a mission trip to New Orleans, and we were lucky enough to be put in the same group. Over the course of a week, we became good friends. However, we slowly went our separate ways after returning home.

The next year, we ended up in the same friend group. After a couple of months, we had grown to be each others best friend. On June 13, 2019 at Lake Lavon we decided that we wanted to give dating a shot. Best decision ever!

In 2019, Rachel left for college at Oklahoma State (Go Pokes), thus beginning many years of long distance dating. The distance grew smaller when Logan went to Wichita State (Go Shoxs) the following year.

Our relationship had been through many ups and downs, with some really amazing moments, but also some very difficult ones. Our story has stood as a true testament of how God's timing and provision for our lives is best. He redeemed and refined our relationship. He sanctified each of us so that we could love and honor Him, and in turn love and honor each other better than we could on our own.

We had spent the last year soaking up all of our time together on the weekends and over breaks. We did lots of driving, went to lots of football games, and found joy in the simplest moments together. It was evident that we loved each other more and more as time went on.

Logan had a timeline for how our relationship would progress, and Rachel patiently and excitedly waited for him to get on one knee. Finally, on June 22, 2024, we went to the fanciest dinner we had ever had, then went for a walk around Flippen Park. That's where we got engaged! We had a beautiful celebration with the friends and family who have been by our side for the past 5 years of our relationship. Now going forward we get to continue to love and support one another, learn from each other, make memories together, and glorify God together through our marriage. We are so excited to be Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler!
