Newport Beach Pier is about 10 minutes away from Balboa Yacht Club! You can spend the day at the beach, walking or biking around the boardwalk, or just enjoying the view at a restaurant. We love Dory Deli (yummy breakfast burritos), Buona Forchetta (Italian food), Sancho's Tacos (casual Mexican food), and Tru Bowl (acai bowls).

Fashion Island is about a 5 minute drive from Balboa Yacht Club! You can spend the day walking around the outside mall. Some of our favorite restaurants there include Great Maple, R + D Kitchen, and Cucina Enoteca.

Lido Marina Village is a trendy outdoor area with some shops and restaurants. Some of our favorite restaurants in this area include Skal Pizza, Malibu Farms, and Bear Flag!

Crystal Cove is about a 15 minute drive along PCH from Balboa Yacht Club! You can relax at the beach or hike in that area as well. The Beachcomber is a beachside restaurant located there and they have delicious beignets.

You can take the ferry across from the peninsula to Balboa Island to enjoy some yummy cinnamon rolls from Balboa Island Baking Company or a Balboa Bar (ice cream or banana dipped in chocolate with your choice of topping) from Dad's or Sugar 'n Spice.
