Flagstaff Mountain offers an incredibly scenic drive, giving stunning views of Boulder below and the Rocky Mountains beyond. Be prepared for hairpin turns!
From the top of Flagstaff, you can walk to Realization Point, which offers an even better view of the mountains.

Enjoy hiking, wildlife, and scenic drives in Rocky Mountain National Park. If you want to enter the park you may need a Timed Entry permit, check their website for details later.
We highly recommend the hike to Emerald Lake, if you are up for a good hike! This trail finishes just above 10,000 feet, so be careful of altitude sickness. (Bear Lake Road permit required)
Bear Lake and Sprague Lake are great options for anyone who wants to see a beautiful, alpine lake without a long hike. (Bear Lake Road permit required)
