Go to Chautauqua&nbsp;to view and hike in the Flatirons, one of our favorite spots in the Foothills! If parking is full, there is a shuttle that starts Memorial Day Weekend.

Flagstaff Mountain offers an incredibly scenic drive, giving stunning views of Boulder below and the Rocky Mountains beyond. Be prepared for hairpin turns! From the top of Flagstaff, you can walk to Realization Point, which offers an even better view of the mountains. Parking fee required at the top.

Enjoy hiking, wildlife, and scenic drives in Rocky Mountain National Park. If you want to enter the park you may need a Timed Entry permit, check their website for details later. We highly recommend the hike to Emerald Lake, if you are up for a good hike! This trail finishes just above 10,000 feet, so be careful of altitude sickness. (Bear Lake Road permit required) Bear Lake and Sprague Lake are great options for anyone who wants to see a beautiful, alpine lake without a long hike. (Bear Lake Road permit required) Trail Ridge Road generally opens around Memorial Day weekend, but it is weather permitting and may not be open if we have a lot of snow!

Get bread, pastries, coffee, and other goods at the Louisville Farmer's Market! Right in downtown, it should run from 9am - 1pm the morning of the wedding day!

Eldorado Canyon is a hidden treasure right in Boulder’s backyard! Whether it’s hiking amidst the towering sandstone cliffs, picnicking along scenic South Boulder Creek, or driving through and seeing the sights, Eldorado Canyon State Park truly has something for everyone.&nbsp; Requires a timed entry pass on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Must make reservations in advance. Day pass in Colorado state parks are $10 and can be bought at the state park. Road into the park has deep potholes and turns to gravel, be careful with lower clearance cars!

Visit the town of Golden! This city is just tucked into the mountains, and offers hikes, a great downtown for shopping, brewery tours, and mining history!
