Flying to LBI
The closest major airports to Long Beach Island are:
EWR - Newark International Airport (approx 1 hour, 20 min, 87.3 miles)
PHL - Philadelphia International Airport (approx 1 hour, 30 min, 68.7 miles).
ACY - Atlantic City Airport (approx 45 minutes).
Taking the Bus to LBI
Complimentary Coach Bus Transport***
We will provide a complimentary coach bus transport to/from EWR (Newark) Airport and PHL (Philadelphia) Airport and Long Beach Island.
Please assume transportation will take ~2 hrs.
Buses will depart EWR/PHL on Friday September 6th at 4:30PM. Expected arrival on LBI: 6-6:30PM.
Buses will depart LBI on Sunday September 8th at 11AM, one headed to each airport (EWR/PHL). Expected arrival at EWR/PHL: 12:30-1PM.
If the complimentary bus transport doesn't work for your itinerary, we recommend the following bus service, or renting a car and driving yourself.
***PLEASE NOTE: If you expressed interest in the airport shuttle option and confirmed with us via email, you have been contacted. If not, this option is now closed and you will need to find other transport.
The Transportazumah Bus from NYC & Philly
There is bus service (Transportazumah) directly from NYC and Philadelphia making stops in Manahawkin (at the Mainland Holiday Inn) and other stops on Long Beach Island.
This bus also makes a stop at the Newark or Philadelphia airport if you’re meeting friends or need to catch a plane home! Make sure to purchase tickets for the bus ahead of time.

Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel
We have a block of rooms at the Drifting Sands Oceanfront Hotel. Please be aware that there is a two-night minimum stay required here. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out time is 11:00am.
Please call the hotel directly at (609) 494-1123 when making reservations and request the Margulies - Scinto group rates. Rooms must be booked by August 7, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
Surf City Hotel
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Surf City Hotel. Please be aware that there is a two-night minimum stay required here.
Guests will book online using a unique group booking link at surfcityhotel.com or call the hotel front desk at 609-494-7281. A credit card is required at time of booking along with a 50% deposit.
Please note: The hotel is open April through October. When the hotel is closed, you may leave a message, or an answering service may handle your call.
Reservations will be accepted in the block of rooms until 06/06/2024.
Sea Horse Motel
The Boulevard Hotel
We have a total of 5 rooms blocked here for Friday and 10 rooms for Saturday night. Check in is at 4:00pm, Check out is at 11 am.
Reservations must be received by 8/7/24 to be given the discounted rate for our block.
Daddy O
We have blocked ten rooms at DaddyO for the wedding weekend. These rooms will be held at a discounted rate for our guests until July 7, 2024.
Renting Homes on LBI
Renting a home is a great option, especially for larger groups wishing to stay together. The best website for home rentals on LBI is vrlbi.com
You can also find homes on Air BnB and VRBO.
Keep in mind that Beach Haven and Beach Haven West are not that close to one another. Beach Haven is closer to the wedding venue. The same can be said for Barnegat and Barnegat Light. Barnegat, NJ is a ~40 minute drive to the wedding venue.
