Ben and Rachel met in 2020 while in college at Louisiana Tech University. They were both at a house party on a Friday night, a night that neither of them expected to be life-changing. Ben was a freshman on the baseball team, and Rachel was there with two of her now bridesmaids, Aubrey and Trinity, enjoying the night. For most of the night, Rachel's friend Trinity tried convincing her to go over and talk to the blonde baseball player, to which Rachel said, "No way!" After the third or fourth instance of the two locking eyes, Ben finally walked over and introduced himself to Rachel. From that moment on, something clicked between them. Before they knew it, they had become inseparable. After several years of dating, Ben asked Rachel to marry him on August 10th, 2024.

Meet the Bridesmaids!

I am so thankful to have each and every one of these girls by my side on my wedding day. I truly could not see myself getting married without these girls, and I am the luckiest bride in the world to get to call them my bridesmaids. Each of these friendships have individually helped shape the person I am today, and I love all of them so much! Whether it's new jobs, law school, grad school, a demanding job, long distance, or just busy life, each bridesmaid has something going on in their life and I cannot tell them thank you enough for making the sacrifice to be a part of my wedding. I hope they all know how much they mean to me! Rachel ♡

Emma, both Rachel's mirror and opposite, is the bride's younger sister and maid of honor. She has grown up by Rachel's side, so it is only right for her to stand by Rachel's side on the big day. Emma is a social butterfly that can make anyone laugh at any time. She is dedicated, loving, caring, and brings the fun with her wherever she goes. Though she is the youngest in the bridal party, she takes her maid of honor duties seriously and is making the most of her role! Her sister is very thankful to have her as part of the bridal party, and can't wait to return the favor as maid of honor for her some day.

Emma Newcomb

Aubrey and Rachel met during college in Accounting class. They eventually went on to become close friends, doing homework and projects together for the rest of their Accounting classes, became next-door neighbors for the majority of college, and even worked together at the same CPA firm in between classes. Aubrey is a one of a kind friend, who always knows what to say and how to help when times are tough. Aubrey has been there for Rachel throughout many trials and tribulations in life and has always been supportive. Aubrey brings the joy with her wherever she goes. She is also the funniest person in the world without meaning to be. College would not have been the same for Rachel without her. She is always uplifting, kind, and positive and her friendship will be cherished forever. It is truly a blessing to get to have Aubrey as a bridesmaid. ♡

Meeting for the first time at 12 years old, Ashley and Rachel played softball on the same travel team. Rachel started school at OCS, where the two would become close friends throughout the rest of middle school and high school. Rachel was there to witness Ashley meet her middle school crush, who is now her husband 10 years later. Rachel was a bridesmaid in Ashley's wedding in March of 2024, and could not be happier to have Ashley in her wedding a year and a half later. From sleepovers in high school coming up with our own rap songs to college baseball games watching the boys play, Ashley has always been a true friend and will be a close friend to Rachel for life.

Brooke and Rachel met in college, becoming instant friends. Brooke has an infectious personality that everyone loves. She is a genuine friend that would do any and everything in her power to protect those that she loves. One of Rachel's favorite things they would do together was go eat Crawfish. No matter how expensive they were, how far of a drive, or the time of day, the two girls always made a plan to go get crawfish. During a snow storm in college, Rachel spent the snow days at Brooke's house where the two girls decided to get out in Brooke's car when they got hungry. The car got stuck on a patch of ice and the girls had to walk miles back to Brooke's house. Memories with Brooke will always bring a smile to your face and this is one of the things most loved about her.

This friendship goes back to middle school. Cassidy was the person who convinced Rachel to transfer schools to OCS. Rachel and Cassidy have been close friends since 8th grade, where the two would choreograph dances upstairs at Cassidy's house and have singing concerts. Rachel can remember a particular dance to "Ayy Ladies" that Cassidy taught her in middle school. She would go along on weekend softball trips of Rachel and Ashley's just to cheer on and support her friends. Cassidy's is one of the longest friendships of all the bridal party. There are so many memories and stories that include her. Throughout all of life's seasons, Cassidy has been a constant friend that you know you can call at the end of the day.

Rachel and Liz met during sophomore year of college through mutual friends. The two have spent every spring break trip together throughout college, and would enjoy watching ABC's the Bachelor and Bachelorette weekly with other girl friends. Liz is one of the most genuine people one could ever meet. Rachel and Liz have spent many nights laughing until tears form and sharing "stories". One of Rachel's favorite memories with Liz is a three day bender one summer in Ruston when the two girls spent days on end together. They went on an outing to Target and Books-a-million, after which they would watch the 3 part series to their favorite film. Liz's friendship has always been a special bond held very close to Rachel's heart. Even all the way to Kansas and back, the friendship will never fade!

Jordan, who is Ben's sister, has been a joy to get to know over the past few years. When Rachel first met Jordan and the rest of Ben's family, she wanted to make a good first impression. Jordan and Ben's mother, Robin, were making mimosas and offered one to Rachel. Not quite immune to the effects of alcohol and not wanting to give the wrong impression to Ben's family, Rachel continued to accept offers of mimosas and their refills. The evening eventually came to an end with the Brantley family finding their son's new girlfriend sound asleep on their couch in the middle of their living room. Jordan is the coolest sister-in-law and has made getting to know the Brantleys feel easy from the very beginning! ♡

Kayleigh and Rachel started off as strangers at a Bachelorette viewing party, but did not stay strangers for very long. Kayleigh was invited to attend one of Rachel's birthday trips and the two became best friends ever since. Kayleigh is a friend that you can be your true self with and not feel judged. Friends like Kayleigh are hard to find and lucky to have; hers is an irreplaceable friendship that is more like family. Kayleigh and Rachel have gone all over the globe together making memories that will stay with each other for life. Of all the memories the two have together, one of Rachel's favorites is when they went on a trip together to Miami. Kayleigh's contacts were burning her eyes, which later reveled that she had been soaking them in hydrogen peroxide instead of contact solution. Memories like these with Kayleigh are infinite as is Rachel's love for her. ♡

To know Maci is to know patience and kindness in a friend. Maci is a friend that is loyal, caring, smart, and beautiful! Maci and Rachel met in middle school and have been friends ever since. Maci had a signature look in middle school; she wore denim vests over her tank tops, with shorts and sandals. Rachel can remember thinking she herself needed to purchase some of these vests so she could be stylish like Maci. She is a gift to everyone she meets and there is no one else like her. Rachel could not imagine not having met Maci in middle school and being friends ever since. It is an honor to have Maci as a part of the bridal party. ♡

Maci Burchfield O'Neal

Rachel and Macy's bond formed in high school. The two were inseparable at school and after, always doing things like going out to eat, out to the mall, or modeling at their local boutique. Macy has truly been there at every stage and season of Rachel's life. This friendship is one that will stand the test of time. Macy has the biggest heart and it shows in the way she cares for her friends. There is nothing you couldn't ask her to do for you. Rachel will always remember the times when her and Macy would go study for math tests at Books a Million's coffee shop, and the many of dinners had at Rawz café, where they did not take her American Express. Macy is more than just a close friend; she is more like a sister. Rachel knew that Macy would be a bridesmaid in her wedding from the very beginning, back to when the two shared their own study hall in the library at school ♡

Rachel and Mary Sutton met in college during quarantine. They have shared countless laughs and tears during sleepovers and trips to Baton Rouge. There is truly no one like Mary Sutton. Those that know her, know her for her goofy sense of humor and for the smile she can put on your face no matter your mood. During college, Mary Sutton would take Rachel to the driving range and teach her how to hit golf balls. The two would take many trips down south to Mary Sutton's home in Baton Rouge, always stopping at Calvin's for chicken salad. It would not be a trip to Baton Rouge without shopping, which the two loved to go do. Rachel was always a FaceTime call away whenever Mary Sutton needed outfit suggestions or someone to tell the day's drama to. One of the best memories with Mary Sutton is the trip to the Virgin Islands, when the girls spent all day out on the water dancing on a boat. No friendship is an accident, and hers is one that was meant to come along in life when it did. ♡

Mary Sutton Sotile

Trinity and Rachel met in a popular culture class in college. They sat beside each other in this class and never really spoke much to each other, due to the strict and aggressive teacher. The next quarter, they were in the same group in Comm 101 class. The two became friends quickly during this quarter and continued to be friends for the remainder of college. Trinity eventually lived next door to Rachel in their neighborhood, so close that the wifi in Rachel's house would connect in Trinity's bedroom. Throughout college the two made numerous impromptu trips to Bossier, always going to staples such as Don Juanz and Kobe. Trinity was the first friend that Rachel made in college, and ended up being one of the closest friends to ever have, one that will live in the heart forever. From dressing up as group costumes on Halloween, playing wii on Old Creek Road, going out on the town, out to the Rev, or to NYC to find the dress, Trinity and the memories shared with her are some of the purest forms of friendship and love. Trinity's love for her friends is unmatched and she has had a great impact in Rachel's life. ♡
