Rachel was the very first person Evan met in college before the start of marching band. We got to know each other marching side by side in our first college show (Stevie Wonder!). We would always flirt and joke around, but we did not actually start dating until senior year of college. It's so funny because when we look back on old photos, we were ALWAYS together. It's funny how life happens this way. We believe in God's timing and are thankful for our time as "just friends" and the journey that brought us together. This season of life is magical! It's filled us with so much joy to watch our friends get married and celebrate together these past few years. We want our circles to be filled with laughter and smiles, and we've promised each other to not take life too seriously. We live to embrace our silly sides and hope that in our marriage, we create safe spaces for all people to be themselves and live life to the fullest!
