Attendees

Can I Bring a plus one?

Plus ones are invite only and will be specifically indicated in your online RSVP. We planned an intimate event with love and consideration and look forward to spending it with our closest friends and family. We will not be able to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed on your online RSVP questionnaire. If you are offered a plus one and do not plan to bring an additional guest, please let us know.

Can I bring my kids?

While we adore your children, we ask that you respect our request to keep our celebration a 12+ experience.

Event Day

What Time Do I Need to Arrive?

Please arrive to the venue between 2:30 & 3:00 p.m. est. Due to the parking options (see "travel") and location in Midtown, Atlanta, you are highly encouraged to leave with plenty of time to arrive early and navigate potential (inevitable) traffic or parking delays. We are only getting married once and do not want you to miss it due to ATL traffic!!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

There will be no waiting around! Our ceremony will begin promptly, followed by a cocktail hour and reception full of food, fellowship, and some fun surprises to keep you entertained from beginning to end of our big day!

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

The reception will end around 9:30 p.m. for a 10 p.m. send-off. We've put great thought into making this a magical day for everyone, and it will mean a lot to us for guests to stay for the entirety of our event. (There will be coffee!!)


There will not be an afterparty, but you are so welcome to keep the party going on your own at another location!

Can I take / share photos at your wedding!

We will have an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask for phones to be off during this time so we can soak in the moment together. However, photos are encouraged after the ceremony! We also do not mind if you post. Just make sure to tag us and use our hashtag #TurnDown4Welch.

Attire

Our dress code is summer formal!

Below knee dresses (ankle or floor length preferred), pants and button down shirt with tie and/or jackets preferred.

Need help picking an outfit? We made some vision boards to help inspire you. It will be hot outside, but the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all indoors and air conditioned.

Food & Beverage

What are we eating?

We don't want to spoil the whole evening, but our goal is to have no hungry guests plus food everyone will enjoy. The day will include a cocktail hour with a bar and four passed hors d'oeuvres, a reception buffet, a champagne toast, cake and dessert display, and a coffee cart of course!

Concerns about dietary restrictions?

We will have vegetarian and gluten free options. If you have additional dietary concerns, please indicate in your RSVP or email turndown4welch@gmail.com so we can do our best to accomodate.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes! While you could certainly #TurnDown4Welch with nothing extra to loosen you up, we do not expect you to! The bar will serve a selection of beer and wine along with two surprise signature cocktails.

Parking

Is there parking at the venue?

We encourage guests to stay at one of the nearest hotels (see travel) and walk with a buddy to the venue. For driving guests, there are multiple paid parking options at the Wimbish House (see below).

Preferred parking at 1100 Peachtree Street (Laz Parking) 2 lots south of Wimbish House. $16 per day. ***Rates Subject to Change. This garage closes at midnight on Friday. Please note that the only entrance for Wimbish clients and their guests is on Peachtree Street.


Alternative parking at AC/Moxy (Lanier Parking) Entrance is located off 14th or 13th Street between West Peachtree and Crescent. Rate is $22 up to 6 hours (credit cards only). ***Rates Subject to Change

Quick Tips for the Day!

- Bring some walking / dancing shoes

- Arrive early! ATL is a whole different world of traffic, so give your party plenty of time to arrive!

- Consider taking Uber or Lyft to and from your hotel and our venue

- Feel free to pack a small battery powered fan

- Take plenty of photos, and don't forget to snag one with the bride and groom

- Listen to the DJ! He will announce when things are happening and when things (the bar) start to wind down

- Make new friends! We can't wait for our favorite people to meet all of our other favorite people!
