We are so excited to bring you to the gorgeous Hudson Valley during our favorite season! Especially being there the weekend after Halloween, will make it extra exciting. Rachel and Brian did some exploring so they could make personal recommendations for our guests. Here are some of our favorite places that we found!
This is one of the reasons we fell in love with RMV! Its kid and dog friendly and has wonderful food, and of course RMV's great wine and beer (and zero proof drinks).
If you're looking for a great cocktail and a beautiful water view. This is your spot! They also have events throughout the weekend (including our Welcome Drinks), but probably some fun Halloween stuff.
Rachel & Brian love this spot! Have some great beer overlooking and orchard and water. Not much food here, but they have some snacks behind the bar and they sometimes have food trucks.
If you're looking for somewhere "moody," this spot has great cocktails, a piano, and pictures of Amy Winehouse in black and white.
This place is so fun! It has a huge billiards room, a ton of beer on tap, and beer hall/log cabin vibes!
Another great family/pup friendly spot! And the location of the picture above. Get some great hard cider and wood fire pizzas (also pick your own apples if you want) here!
Big spot with a full restaurant and beer on the side of the river with the hotels.
DETROIT STYLE PIZZA! Yum.
If you're looking for a cozy small spot with some natural wines, here is your place.
Some New Orleans Flair in New Paltz.
Another great brewery near the hotels.
We haven't been yet, but our vendors LOVE it.
24 hour diner. Enough said.
There are so many great things to explore and do in this area. Tons of biking and hiking trails. Below are a few places we've heard of or scoped out.
We will keep an eye on any fun Halloween actvities.
Also, if you're just looking to stroll around. We love walking around the cute downtown area of New Paltz. Or you can take a 30 minute drive north to Kingston, which has some great shops and restaurants.
Great farmers market! Get amazing donuts and do some pumpkin picking here.
We haven't been here yet, but its a well known spot for pumpkin picking!
Rachel hasn't been yet but has been wanting to for a while! If anyone is up for a trail ride, the bride can easily be convinced!
Adorable small street to walk down with some shops, coffee, and restaurants. A few of the food spots are listed above.
Cheese and local goods. Love this spot!
Get your Halloween on! Rated #1 in America... not sure by who, but that is what the website says!
