Can I bring children?
As we finalize our guest list, we wanted to let you know that we have decided to have young adults (16+) and adults only at our wedding. We hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere for all of our guests. We realize this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare.
We hope that you will still be able to join us on this special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Thank you for understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Can I take photos or bring my cell phone?
We are thrilled to have you join us for our wedding day and wanted to let you know about a special request we have for our ceremony. To help us keep the focus on the love and commitment we are making to each other, we kindly request that you do not use your cell phone during the ceremony.
Please silence all devices during the ceremony and do not take any photos during the ceremony or after during family photos.
However, you may take as many photos as you want during our reception!
Can I bring a guest?
If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.
When should we arrive at the event?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony. This will ensure that guests have time to mingle and get seated.
If you arrive late to the ceremony and it is past the start time, the venue will close and lock the gates and will not allow entry until the ceremony is complete. Therefore, please make every effort to be on time or you will miss the ceremony.
Is there a dress code?
Our wedding will be a semi-formal event and we kindly request that our guests dress accordingly. We want everyone to feel comfortable and look their best.
We ask that guests refrain from wearing denim or flip-flops to the event. Please also refrain from wearing white or cream. Please note, the ceremony takes place outside on the grass- please make shoe choices accordingly.
Can I smoke or vape at the venue?
Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors. You may smoke tobacco and marijuana outside on the patio. There will be a fire pit and heating elements to keep everyone warm.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
We wanted to let you know that the reception will be held indoors, while the ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting.
We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, we will move them indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.
During the reception, our guests will have access to the inside and outside areas of the venue. There will be maintained fires for warmth and we encourage guests to socialize indoors and outdoors :)
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking for the venue. It will be clearly marked and venue staff will also be helping to direct cars to the appropriate parking areas.
We do ask that guests not park in the closest area to the building, as this will be reserved for guests who have mobility issues, as well as the bride and groom.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed. As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot come. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make necessary adjustments to our plans.
On the other hand, if you are able to attend, please RSVP so that we can provide our vendors with an accurate headcount and ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt response. We cannot wait to see you on our big day!
