What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than July 6th 2024 if at all possible. This allows us to give final numbers to our caterers, event coordinators, and more. Thank you in advance!

Will the wedding be live-streamed?

Yes!! We will have the wedding live-streamed for anyone who cannot make it to our special day. Please search on YouTube, “Holy Spirit Online” and you will find the live-stream on there shortly before the ceremony begins.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes early for the wedding to find your seat and be in your seat in time for the prelude music and entrances by family members/bridal party.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is formal wear. For some example ideas, men to wear dress pants, dress shirt, and optional suit jacket. We do understand the wedding is in July so still feel free to wear a collared short-sleeve shirt or light, long-sleeve shirt with no pressure of needing a suit jacket. For ladies, please feel free to wear a dress that is modest in length with shoulders covered if possible. You may also wear a nice pant suit. Think of something you would wear for a nice dinner or formal event. Sundresses are great too! Our wedding is in a Catholic Church so we just ask that you respect the modesty of your attire to fit that atmosphere while also wearing something you are comfortable with given that it may be pretty warm that day. Thank you in advance!

When should I arrive to the reception venue?

Please arrive after 5:15-5:20 p.m. if at all possible to avoid frustrations with parking. Holy Trinity does have Saturday evening mass at 4 p.m. that will get out at 5 p.m. so parking can be more of a hassle if arriving when mass is first getting out. Please feel free though to attend mass at 4 p.m. if you would like to fulfill your Sunday obligation for mass because as much as we would love for our wedding to fulfill that, it does not!

What are your wedding colors?

Our primary color is plum purple with also accents of yellow and some lavender. The yellow color is the color of sunflowers that will also be used throughout the wedding decor.

What type of food will be served?

We will be catering in Italian food in buffet style. We will have some gluten free pasta for anyone needing that accommodation. Dinner will begin shortly after the reception starts. Cupcakes/cake will follow with special food surprise later in the evening!

Will there be an open bar?

We will be serving “His and Her” cocktails earlier in the night. After those run out, beer and wine will only be available at the bar. We ask that you please bring some cash if you are able to provide a tip at the bar. All proceeds will be going to charity to support “Coats for Kids.” This charity is run by the Knights of Columbus to provide winter coats to children in the KC Metro each fall to children in need.
