Our Story
Our School Days
Similar to most TV love dramas, we met in highschool. However our romance and love never started as kids. We were friends in school, but each lived separate lives, occasionally going to a football game with our mutual friends.
How It Began
One small snapchat message sparked the love. Rachel was back in town after college and was looking to meet up with some friends. Tyler reached out and they decided to meet up for a night out! Not knowing the romance would spark into a relationship after just a few weeks.
Covid Couldn't Stop Us
As COVID-19 raged on in the world, we became closer and closer. Enjoying dinner dates from home. We found out we both loved all of the same things, and could finally be our true selves around the other. Our favorite activities were spending the nights gaming and watching anime with each other.
Family Bonding
We began to form bonds with each other's families. From spending days fishing with Rachel's family (and getting royally burnt in the process), playing darts with Tyler's family, and playing the famous game of Aggravation , we became close with each others family and friends.
Tyler’s sister quickly bonded with Rachel and the two girls have been inseparable ever since. Not only is Rachel getting a husband, one of her best friends is becoming her sister!
The Proposal
It All Began With Mexico
Unknown to Rachel, the plans for this international proposal started months in advance. Tyler had sneakily gone with Gina to find the perfect ring. He kept it a surprise from everyone (even his own sister didn't know!). The day before the trip he suck over to Rachel's parents house to ask them for their blessing, obviously they said yes!
And so we took off, ring in pocket, destination PARADISE!
We arrived in paradise! We spent the first day soaking up all there is to see. Playing in the sand before calling it a night... Little did Rachel know dinner the next night would be the happiest day of her life!
SHE SAID YES!
We walked down to dinner, to Rachel's surprise we had the whole pier overlooking the ocean to ourselves! We had our own private waitress, bartender, and chef! The food was amazing and right after dessert Tyler shocked Rachel (Somehow, she still didn't see this coming....).
"I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and there really is only one way to do that, will you marry me?" and Rachel turned into a mess as she said yes through tears.
Privacy?
Little did we know, we weren't alone! We had some spectators in the bushes! Gina and Kayshia couldn't miss this!

And now our story begins all over. Making memories as Rachel and Tyler Kris! We can't wait to make even more memories with all of you by our side.
