Potato Lake Trailhead

This hike is really close to the Lodge. Park at the beaver damn and it is about a 2 mile hike to Potato Lake. This hike is stunning and absolutely worth it!
Durango Silverton Railroad

This is a stunning train ride through the mountains from Durango to Silverton. It is a 3 &1/2 Hour trip one-way. The best way to do this activity is going as a group and splitting the trip in half. Although the views are amazing, 3 & 1/2 hours is enough time on a train lol.

They make honey anything and everything! Think Bucee's but with honey. Seriously worth the stop in to shop! We will more than likely make multiple trips to this place.

There are so many shops and restaurants all down main street. You could easily spend 2 days shopping and eating. They have the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, toy stores, boutiques, restaurants, and a bird enclosure where you can see all kinds of owls.
