Jake and met Matt during Matt's Sophomore year at Alabama through the hockey team. The coach put Jake and Matt on the same line, calling the line the "Coneheads" since they wouldn't stop talking to each other - even though they had barely said 2 sentences to each other. They stayed on the same line until Matt graduated and grew to be very close throughout the years. They roomed together on road trips and created a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Gus and Matt met in middle school when Gus moved to St. Charles. Their personalities clicked immediately, and they instantly became best friends. All throughout high school Gus and Matt bonded over the gym, bodybuilding, and finding ways to get the other into trouble. Gus was the first friend Matt had who was heavily involved in the Church and played a big part in helping Matt grow his relationship with the Lord.

Jared is Matt's brother-in-law. Matt and Jared got along instantly, bonding over their love of hockey. Although they argue about who the best team in the NHL is, they shared love for UND hockey. Jared and Steph blessed Matt to be an uncle (again) with their baby, Bentley, this January.

Gavin is Matts brother-in-law. Matt and Gavin have always shared a bond over Star Wars and Disney. Gavin and Jessica were the first to make Matt an uncle, and in Disney Land, allowed Matt to be the first to know their first daughter's name.

Ryan and Matt met as babies through Matt's Mom's daycare. They grew up inseparable until middle school. Then, miraculously, they both ended up finding out the other was going to Alabama. They immediately reconnected and ended up in the same fraternity and as roommates Sophomore year.

Matt and Colman met through Gus. Matt and Colman bonded strongly over the gym and their shared love for Bodybuilding, which Colman was able to share his knowledge in. Colman also helped Matt grow his relationship with the Lord.

Kinley is Raegan’s younger sister and built-in best friend. Kinley has always been one of Raegan’s biggest cheerleaders and supporters, being a great sounding board who also isn’t afraid to tell her how it is. She’s been there for all of the ups and downs, twists and turns of life and has always known exactly what Raegan needed, whether that was a hug, a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with, or just someone to experience or talk it out with. Whether it’s watching disney movies, guessing what song and artist are on the radio, asking each other for fashion advice, filling each other in on their days, or just hanging out around the house, Kinley can make any moment together special.

Ashley is Matt’s sister and has grown to be someone he can confide in and rant to if needed. Ashley and Raegan have grown closer through board games, cards games, cooking and baking, and most importantly, making fun of Matt. They are both very family oriented with a passion to help others anyway they can, especially those they care about. Raegan’s spent a lot of time and has made many memorable and meaningful moments with Ashley at holidays in Illinois, Stephanie’s wedding, and even in Florida at Disney.

Stephanie is Matt's youngest sister and has always been a close friend and supporter of everything he has done. Stephanie's love for helping kids has always resonated with Raegan as a shared passion. Stephanie welcomed Raegan to the family with open arms sharing amazing memories during her wedding, both the day of and rehearsal night sitting around the campfire, and at family holidays. The relationship continues to grow as time goes on and more and more memories are made.

Jessica is Matt’s sister and has always been someone he looks up to. Jessica was the first one of Matt’s sisters that Raegan was able to meet. Jessica and Gavin’s love of all things Marvel and Star Wars made Raegan feel welcome and right at home. Jessica has always been very accepting and open towards Raegan in all areas including her home and her family. They’ve continued to grow closer, going to Matt’s hockey games and spending holidays together.

Hayden is Raegan’s older brother and has always been her voice of reason and the person she went to to rant or for advice. He holds most of her secrets and has always encouraged her to be herself without judgment. Raegan has always looked up to Hayden and tried to keep up with him from a young age. She actually learned to walk at an early age just so she could follow him around and take the toys he was playing with.

Carson is Raegan’s younger brother. Carson and Raegan have always been told that their personalities are the same, meaning they were either thick as thieves or fighting like cats and dogs, and that could change within the hour. Some might say Carson is quiet or even reserved, but he has always been able to make Raegan laugh and be that goofy kid with curly hair that has to photobomb every picture with a silly face.
