Getting to Tofino is not for the faint of heart.
But once you get there, it's worth it! We promise!
Due to Tofino being an isolated community, there can be challenges when travelling. One of the main issues when travelling to Tofino is Highway 4. There can be closures or multiple-hour traffic delays.
If you are prone to car sickness- make sure you bring gravol! Highway 4 is made of switchbacks and the road twists and winds.
We suggest arriving in Tofino at minimum the day before the wedding. Do not travel on the day of the wedding!
There are limited flights into Tofino- but you can fly directly if need be!

If you are driving- leave lots of time to get onto the ferry in Vancouver! Traffic can cause delays or missing of the ferry entirely.

Due to the small and intimate nature of our wedding, we would like everyone to stay at the same resort in order to relax, spend time, and have fun together.
Call Mackenzie Beach Resort for wedding prices when booking a cabin, airstream, spartan, or suite! When calling to book accommodations, tell them you are with the Guthrie/Groves Wedding.
****There is a 3-night minimum booking for this resort**** We will stay one night BEFORE the wedding and one night after. You can arrive and leave whenever throughout that week but please be mindful of the 3-night minimum. ****
-This resort is dog-friendly! Let them know if you're bringing a dog when booking.
-Please note that there is NO camping as the campsite area will be under construction at the time.
