East meets West.
India meets Australia.
Mehndi ceremony meets "throw some shrimp on the barbie".
The Mehndi ceremony traditionally involves applying henna to the hands and feet of the bride and, nowadays, to the groom as well. All guests are invited to complete the mehndi art with at least one hand.
Throughout Indian ceremonies, there are a number of games and traditions which brings luck to either the bride or groom. So if henna art isn't your thing, there'll be games to join in on and lots of food to tuck into.
Look forward to seeing you there.
