Baraat: The Groom arrives for the wedding, along with his family and friends in a festive procession, complete with live music, dhols (traditional drums), and dancing. They are then received by the Bride’s family.

The wedding ceremony is centered around the Guru Granth Sahib (holy book). The couple sits next to each other on the floor facing the Guru Granth Sahib.
Guests will be seated behind the wedding couple and the couple will complete the "4 Lavan" (they will circle the holy book 4 times to complete the wedding ceremony).
