Our Story

Pre-Wedding Rituals &amp; Celebrations Thursday, October 30, 2025Trellis Garden from 3pm onwards Suggested Attire: semi-formal and comfortable!- Maiyaan: pastel shades - Sangeet: any and all colors(an outfit change is completely optional) Note: - There will be a break in between the maiyaan and sangeet. Given that both events will be held at the same venue, guests are encouraged to stay at the venue and relax! Going back to the hotel to freshen up or decompress is also an option. - There will be rooms available at the venue to securely store any belongings and/or change outfits between events.

Religious Wedding Ceremony &amp; Post-Wedding Celebrations Friday, October 31, 2025Gurudwara: [Location and Time]Lavaan Banquet from 12:30pm onwards Required Attire: It is mandatory to dress modestly and respectfully as per Gurudwara policies. Please respect the following: 1) Coverage: Please do not wear revealing clothing and try to keep shoulders and legs covered. 2) Footwear: Shoes &amp; socks must be removed before entering. There will be a designated place for storage at the Gurudwara. 3) Head covering: A head covering is required. See details below:- Men: A head covering (handkerchief or turban) is required - these will be provided to you.- Women: A scarf or dupatta is required to cover the head. Most traditional attire comes with a scarf of some form but we will make sure to have some available for you. Suggested Attire: formal, preferably Indian formalColors: earth tones! (shades of sage green, beige, cream, light brown, brown)- Men: dress shirt w/ blazer &amp; dress pants; kurta pajama- Women: Indian attire (lehenga or suit, top must have sleeves); maxi dress (must have sleeves)

Note:- Please refrain from drinking alcohol prior the religious wedding ceremony (don't worry, there will be a lot at the party after!) as the Gurudwara is a sacred place of worship. Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

For U.S. citizens, a visa is required for travel to India. You can select from two visa types: Tourist eVisa or Regular Tourist Visa. Tourist eVisa (Best for Short Trips)Eligibility: Stay up to 30 days.Steps:1. Fill out the online application form.3. Upload:- Passport bio page (PDF).- Recent photo (JPEG, white background).- Pay the fee online (~$25–$50).4. Receive eVisa approval by email in 4–7 days.5. Print the eVisa and carry it to India. Regular Tourist Visa (Best for Longer Trips)Eligibility: Stay beyond 30 days or require a 5–10 year visa.Steps:1. Flights

We recommend flying into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, India. To enjoy all of the wedding events, we recommend a minimum stay of 5 nights with:- Arrival date: Oct 28- Departure date: Nov 2 evening However, we encourage guests to stay longer to enjoy the city of Chandigarh and to explore other parts of India! Please share your flight details with us so we can coordinate logistics and arrange group transportation.

Hotel Accomodations

As part of our wedding festivities, we're happy to host your accommodations for 3 nights in Chandigarh. Each morning's breakfast buffet is also included with the stay. - Check-In: Thursday, Oct. 30th @ 2pm- Check-Out: Sunday, Nov. 2nd @ 12pm Any additional nights or services during your stay will be will be yours to manage directly with the hotel. We’re so excited to spend this special time with you!
