For U.S. citizens, a visa is required for travel to India.

You can select from two visa types: Tourist eVisa or Regular Tourist Visa.

Tourist eVisa (Best for Short Trips)

Eligibility: Stay up to 30 days.

Steps:

1. Visit Indian eVisa Portal.

2. Fill out the online application form.

3. Upload:

- Passport bio page (PDF).

- Recent photo (JPEG, white background).

- Pay the fee online (~$25–$50).

4. Receive eVisa approval by email in 4–7 days.

5. Print the eVisa and carry it to India.

Regular Tourist Visa (Best for Longer Trips)

Eligibility: Stay beyond 30 days or require a 5–10 year visa.

Steps:

1. Visit Indian Visa Online Portal.

2. Complete the application, print it, and sign.

3. Gather documents:

- Original passport + photocopy.

- Two passport photos.

- Wedding invitation.

- Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill).

- Submit at your nearest VFS Global center.

- Pay the fee (~$100–$150) and wait 2–3 weeks for processing.

4. Output: Visa sticker on your passport.

We recommend flying into Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in Delhi, India.

To enjoy all of the wedding events, we recommend a minimum stay of 5 nights with:

- Arrival date: Oct 28

- Departure date: Nov 2 evening

However, we encourage guests to stay longer to enjoy the city of Chandigarh and to explore other parts of India!

As part of our wedding festivities, we're happy to host your accommodations for 3 nights in Chandigarh. Each morning's breakfast buffet is also included with the stay.
