Q + A

Where is the wedding?

Our wedding will take place at the Thornhill Education Center in the Morton Arboretum. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved indoors as well.

How do I get to the venue?

We will have a shuttle running between the venue and hotels where we have room blocks (see the "Travel" tab of this site). If you prefer to drive, put "The Morton Arboretum" into your GPS and let security know you are there for the McKinley/Haskell-Glatz wedding.

Where should I park?

There will be signs pointing the way to the parking lot. The general parking lot is a short walk from the venue. Wheelchair-accessible parking is available onsite.

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?

All spaces are accessible. Guests with mobility aids will be allowed to enter the ceremony through the main building instead of crossing the lawn.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to the size of our venue, we cannot give every guest a plus one. Please do not bring anyone who is not listed on your invitation.

Are children invited?

With the exception of our ring bearer and flower girl, children will not be invited to the wedding. Thank you for understanding.

What should I wear?

We would love for our friends and family to dress up with us! We are requesting that guests wear formal attire. Please no jeans, t-shirts, or sneakers. If you are wearing a dress, please refrain from wearing white or a color that closely resembles white. The bridesmaids will be in blue and the groomsmen will be in tan.

Can I take photos/videos of the ceremony?

Because we want our loved ones to be fully present with us, we kindly request that all devices be put away during the ceremony. We will share our professional photos and video when they are made available to us.

So what's the deal with last names?

We're both changing our names! Rayna will be changing her last name to Haskell, and Ryan will do the same by removing the "Glatz" hyphen from his name. We are very excited to be Ryan and Rayna Haskell!
