Brenton Point State Park is a park known for its picturesque beauty and rich historical significance. Located at the convergence of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, this idyllic park offers breathtaking panoramic views. It was once the site of a grand estate and later served as a military training ground during World War I and II.
Part of our engagement shoot was at Brenton Point State Park and it is located about a mile past the OceanCliff Hotel.
Another historical park close to downtown Newport in Fort Adams State Park. Constructed in the mid-19th century, Fort Adams boasts sprawling grounds, sturdy ramparts, and intricate tunnels, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into its past. The fort served as a key defense post during the American Civil War and both World Wars, and it later became a training center for the U.S. Naval Academy.
