As many may know we both went through many personal challenges during their respective college years. It was for this reason that Rebecca felt most comfortable returning to live at home in the Fall of 2017 after graduating from Penn State. On the night of October 6th, 2017 a friend invited Rebecca to join her at a night out in Kutztown and set her up with a mutual friend, who turned out to be Tyler. Although we were both shy and awkward at first, eventually we got to talking about our mutual dislike for the club scene we were forced into. Over time we hung out more both with and without mutual friends. Without this friend guiding us in the early days of our relationship we would not be where we are today.

Over the years there have been challenges but also lots of growth. By pure chance, Rebecca got a job a mile from Tyler's parents house in 2019 and in 2020 we started living together in Birdsboro. Of course this was in the height of the covid pandemic, with both of us working part time and Rebecca in school full time as well, but we managed to come through this stronger.

Flash forward to October 16th, 2022 (the day before Rebecca's birthday) and Tyler suggested a walk in nearby French Creek State Park, it was at this time Tyler proposed and the wedding planning began! For the sanity of both of us we then moved into a place to call our own (no more roommates except each other!) and began planning our life together.

We are excited to have you as part of our journey and are excited to share our love with you next June.
