Luckily, our wedding is on the Grand Lake side which is less busy and much less touristy. It's easy to get in/out of the park on this side compared to the other side of the park.
You can drive through Rocky Mountain and see all kinds of sites. It's easy to navigate and there are self-guided audio tours.
We've hiked up to Dream Lake and Emerald Lake, both are very pretty. You don't need to hike to see cool sites, there's plenty to do along the way via car inside the park.
There's also the Lake Haiyaha hike.
There are also great hikes inside Rocky Mountain but also outside. You should drive up to the Tundra. The views are amazing! But bring a coat! The temperature drops. You can also stop at the Continental Divide. You may get lucky and see Mountain goats and Rams on the way.
