Welcome to our wedding website! We can't wait to share our special day with you. We've created this wedding website as a hub for all of our wedding information. We’ve reserved a hotel block at The Beaufort Hotel for our wedding weekend, but there are plenty of Airbnbs and vacation rentals nearby if you prefer more space or a longer stay. If you book a vacation rental, please let us know so we can coordinate logistics. If you’re thinking about turning our wedding into a longer trip, we wanted to share that we’ll be in Beaufort from Friday, September 4 through Thursday, September 10. We’d absolutely love to spend extra time together if you’ll be around—more details to come, but just wanted to give a heads up for planning 🤍

We’ve reserved a hotel block for our wedding weekend at The Beaufort Hotel - this way, after celebrating with us, all you'll have to do is ride the elevator back to your room! Guests can book rooms from Friday through Tuesday (holiday weekend flexibility), though you’re welcome to stay just for the night before and/or the night of the wedding. Please note: As of right now, guests can book a stay for only 1 night. However, since this is a holiday weekend, the hotel has stated that the closer we get, they may require at least a 2-night stay!

Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

Think elevated and festive—this is your cue to dress up and have a little fun with it. For women, midi dresses and floor-length dresses are all great choices (please avoid white, off-white shades, silver, or any other color traditionally saved for the bride and her bridesmaids - they're wearing dusty blue!).For men, suits are encouraged, or dress pants with a dress shirt and blazer (ties welcome, but totally optional).We’re going for polished, party-ready vibes, so please leave the jeans, khakis, and t-shirts at home and come dressed to celebrate, sip, and dance the night away.

Bec & Nick: Two Sides to Every Story

If you ask Nick...

I used to see Bec around in high school, but we never really talked. I always saw her though - she was very cute and always had a smile on her face. I played football, and she was a cheerleader, so while our friend groups were a little similar, we still never really talked much. Plus, we were both in relationships with other people. After I graduated, I added her on Snapchat and we would talk occasionally, but it was never consistent. When we did talk though, it was always flirtatious. After I got out of a long relationship, she started talking to me more consistently. We were still super casual though, and we talked more like we were friends. Shortly after that, we even matched on a few dating sites and decided we would hang out in person. After hanging out a few times, I told her that I wasn't looking for a serious relationship at the moment. I figured we could still hang out without making anything too serious... Little did I know, I wouldn't see her again for like 5 months. She ghosted me. (She still kept our Snapchat streak alive though). We still talked a little bit and hung out occasionally, but one random day in December, I decided I would ask her to go to an NFL game with me... in the pouring rain with below freezing temperatures. I figured there was no way that she would ever come, but she agreed. We drove 4 hours to Charlotte together, sat through a freezing cold game (actually used Bjoangles chicken tenders to warm our hands), and drove 4 hours back home. I remember thinking, "man, this is the coolest girl I've ever met." After that day, we just started hanging out more. It was definitely different for me, because I wasn't used to having another person around so much, but I enjoyed her company. The first time that I met her parents, we went out to eat for her mom's birthday, and her whole family was very welcoming. The first time that she met mine, we went to Drive Shack where Bec drank one Michelob Ultra and had a buzz. My family immediately fell in love with her and welcomed her into the family. Shortly after that, she started staying the night at my house... almost every night... until one day, she just never left. And I wouldn't have it any other way. She is one of the hardest working, smartest individuals I've ever met and makes me strive to be a better man everyday. I am very excited to see where this next chapter takes us.

If you ask Bec...

The very first memory that I have of Nick is from high school. We both went to CBA, but he was a grade ahead of me. He played football, and I was a cheerleader, so we had a lot of the same friends, and crossed paths often. He always had a different girlfriend in high school from what I can remember. And I had a relationship of my own, so, I never fully got to know him or anything. In college, we would chat here and there through social media. We often had a snapchat streak and he would “slide up” on my stories to flirt occasionally. At that point, I was at ECU and he was still in Goldsboro, so nothing really came of anything then. We did start hanging out earlier in 2023 after we had matched on a few different dating apps (yes - we were both on more than one). I remember, we would stay up until 3:00 in the morning playing Trivia Crack against each other and we just had the best conversations. That was one of the things that really drew me into him - he was very smart, and could challenge me in intellectual conversations. We also both enjoyed football, so that was always a topic of conversation. We hung out for a few weeks, before he told me that he “just couldn’t catch feelings right now.” This stung a little bit, but I gave him his space and continued on with my life. Then, on a random Friday night in December, I was out at a local brewery with some friends from work, and he asked me if I wanted to go to a Carolina Panthers game. I was so confused. He told me the game was that Sunday, and that he would pay for everything. I had never even been in the car with him.. And he was asking me to ride in the car with him for 3 and a half hours to Charlotte? I reluctantly told him yes. I honestly didn’t think we would actually go. I figured he would “have something come up.” The next night, I went to my best friend’s house to hang out, and ended up telling her that I was going to the game with him. She freaked out and was so excited about our “first date.” In my mind, this was not a first date. I had assumed that maybe he was supposed to go with someone else and they had to back out, or he was bored and I was the only person available. Plus, I had just reached the mindset of not wanting a relationship - I wanted to focus on myself for a while. Like I said, it was definitely not a date. Sunday morning came, and he picked me up. We both dressed for the weather - freezing cold and pouring rain. The whole drive there, we had great conversations. His driving may or may not have almost killed me - he would blame it on the weather lol - but we made it in one piece. We got to the stadium and it was empty - the Panthers had only won one game that season, and the weather was awful. It was so cold that we were using our Bojangles to warm up our hands. It was miserable - but I had the absolute best time. The Panthers won their second (and last) game that season. From there, I was still super hesitant about where this was going to go. I really liked him, but was nervous that he still “couldn’t catch feelings.” I stayed persistent though. A few weeks later, he was picking me up from the airport when I got back from my Disney trip because he “didn’t want me parking at the airport for the weekend.” A few weeks after that, my parents bought a new house and he was helping me repaint my bedroom and move my furniture. He even built my furniture for me. His family welcomed me in, just as easily as mine did.. And now we’re here! Counting down the days until we say “I do!”
