Seattle is a city full of things to do including museums, the Space Needle, Kerry Park, underground city tours, rentable jacuzzi boats, and more.
Close to Snohomish, Woodinville is home to more than 130 wineries and tasting rooms.
Olympic National Park is beautiful in June. There are waterfalls, beaches, rainforests, and mountains. For a great hike, I recommend Mount Storm King. For an easy backpacking trip, Shi Shi beach, but get a permit from the ranger station first. You can also take whale watching trips out of Port Angeles.
Evan and Rebecca are headed to Leavenworth, a small Bavarian village in Washington, for the remainder of their long weekend (including Juneteenth holiday). Feel free to join them for a vegan bratwurst lunch, hike, mini-golf, or ziplining!
Some of the best early season hikes are Lake 22, Bridal Veil Falls and Serene Lake, and Goat Lake (Mt Baker area one), and Franklin Falls.
Unfortunately, June is a little bit too early to be able to visit most of the higher elevation areas snow-free, including Mt Rainier. However, the Paradise part of Mt Rainier might be visitable as it usually is by July. Check conditions beforehand.
For views of Mt Rainier (on a clear enough day) without dealing with hiking or June snow, you can take a scenic gondola ride up to Summit House restaurant at Crystal Mountain.
Snoqualmie Falls is an area closer to Seattle with optional hiking, dining, and accommodations.
