Thomas waited with a tapping foot. He was on a wooden bench in the downtown of Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She was late. It was their first date.

Rebecka, in her car, waited for a policeman to come back with her license and likely expired insurance information. She was caught making one of her flagrant traffic violations...she was late...it was their first date.

Instant chemistry was struck when she eventually arrived. They ate, they walked by the beach, romantically ending the night with a kiss they’d never forget. They’d later come to find Point Pleasant to be their home together. Also, they would later come to find that Tom is actually the one who is making them late to everything and was also himself, a few minutes late to their first date. The lovers had a similar taste in music. Maybe, have even been at the same concert before. They also have a shared love of movies and like on the big screen Rebecka was falling for him.

Later that year, the couple traveled together to Nashville, where their love was cemented. Tom soon after formed a deep bond with Rebecka’s then 4 year old son, Bryson. Tom knew that he wanted these two in his life forever. Over the next years they grew together into a family, along with 3 cats. 2 fat. 1 medium.
