The world famous Getty Museum is absolutely worth visiting if you have time. Admission is free (but there is a parking fee). Also don't miss its partner, The Getty Villa, located right on the Pacific Coast just next to Santa Monica. Click here for the website.
Very close to our wedding venue. Zuma is a very large sandy beach. It can get crowded on weekends, but it's a great place for a day on the sand. Water is chilly but very swimmable!
Good touristy times for the whole family. Set right on the ocean, the pier has a fun carnival-like atmosphere, complete with roller coaster, ferris wheel, and some delicious eats.
One of our favorite seafood shacks right off of the PCH. Great views of the ocean, very fresh inventory, and a huge menu of delicious, guilty-pleasure seafood.
This is where we became engaged! Santa Ynez Valley is a beautiful part of California, located about 2 hours north of Los Angeles or 40 minutes from Santa Barbara. There are so many amazing wineries, you'll just have to research and choose a few to visit. It's a very laid back and welcoming environment, and there are some wonderful places to eat and stay overnight. A must-do activity for wine-lovers and those with some time to take a day trip or overnight while in California!
