Blake and Reilly matched on Hinge in 2019 when Blake swiped right while in the PDX airport on his way home to Illinois for winter break. Feeling like there was something there, and having no other option, the two texted and snap chatted for the month Blake was home. Unbeknownst to Reilly at the time, Blake moved his flight home up a day so he could plan a first date with her. The couple met up at a McMenamins in downtown Portland, half way for the pair who lived in Hillsboro and Vancouver respectively at the time. After 3 hours that flew by the pair parted ways and both felt like something more was there. A few more dates later and the pair became official on January 19th of 2020. Enter Covid-19. Blake being in PA school and Reilly working in a coffee shop at the time it was a difficult balance to enjoy being in the honeymoon phase of a new relationship while also being conscious of a worldwide pandemic. The pair spent a month texting and FaceTiming to help pass the time, but when it was clear Covid wasn't going anywhere they met and had a big heart to heart, laying it all on the table that they thought things were worth pursuing - social distancing, school and a customer service job be damned. Reilly was motivated by seeing Blake pursuing his passion as a PA and applied for her first psych job at Trillium in June of 2020 while Blake finished his classes then went on his Clinical Rotations. During those rotations Blake found a love for the Springfield Family Med clinic in Eugene and later applied and was accepted for a position in the company in 2021. 8 months later, after Blake was able to get settled and the pair planned some logistics for the future during bi-weely visits, Reilly packed her car and moved down to Eugene in March of 2022. A townhouse, puppy, and job change later the pair gave living together a shot. Between job changes for Reilly, Blake getting a full patient panel at the clinic, traveling for weddings, and buying a house 2 years of living together came and went. While surviving an ice storm that knocked power out for 9 days and caused a tree branch to fall on said new houses roof Blake was looking for rings and planning the surprise proposal that involved scheming, a stressful travel day and a surprise Vera Wang wedding book. He got down on one knee during a trip to Las Vegas and the pair became fiancés on March 21, 2024. Blake and Reilly decided to get married in an intimate, private ceremony on April 19th, 2025 and hope to share in their happiness of their first year or marriage with you on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Due to the couple eloping there is not a formal wedding party. There are, however, important people that helped support Blake and/or Reilly throughout different stages of life both together and before they met. These people get their shout outs below:

Lacie is Reilly's college, down the hall neighbor, turned house roommate and co-dog parent, turned international travel buddy and best friend. Lacie has seen Reilly through many different stages of life in the almost 10 years they have known each other and was the first person to really know about Blake (going so far as to make sure Reilly checked in with her during their first date because ya never know with dating apps). Lacie helped Beth with planning Reilly's bachelorette party in Austin and was one of the witnesses to Blake and Reilly's elopement in April of 2025. Lacie currently resides in Vancouver, WA with her Husband Mark and their 2 dogs Peanut Butter and Biscuit. She spends her work days supporting scheduling at the GI center in Vancouver (and making poop jokes because how could she not).

Nicole and Reilly met in Middle School band, and although they were not immediate best friends their lives continued to circle back to each other showing the two that a friendship was meant to be. While Reilly went abroad her Junior year of High School Nicole was one of the only school friends that continued to make an effort to keep updated with Reilly so, upon returning home, Reilly and Nicole became the best of friends and did everything together Senior year. After moving to Bend together to attend OSU-Cascades as roommates (and failing miserably) then growing apart the two found their way back to each other and have been inseparable since. Nicole resides in Newberg with her husband Lance and their son Koa. When she is not being a full time, bad-ass mom, partner and friend she spends her time working with children at a daycare while also balancing finishing her bachelors degree.

Kaila and Reilly met when Blake moved down to Eugene. The girls met during a double date planned by the guys and immediately hit it off. A few months after Reilly moved down to Eugene and realized the jobs she lined up was not going to work out the way she'd hoped Kaila mentioned the manager for her salon leaving. Reilly perked up and the pair talked about specifics of that. Soon after Reilly started working at Kaila's salon as her manager and has never looked back. Kaila and her husband Alejandro were in cahoots with Blake for the Vegas proposal and made sure to get all the wonderful photos and video that Reilly had hoped to have. Kaila was also a witness for Blake and Reilly's elopement in April 2025. Kaila lives in Eugene with her husband Alejandro, their daughter Lysandra and their 2 dogs Beija and Bandit.

Tessa and Reilly met at OSU-Cascades initially through lobbying in Salem and later through working together in Student Government. While Reilly was President Tessa worked as the Director of Public Relations and the pair became quick friends. House parties, graduations, and moving to different states the pair stayed connected and make an effort to see each other during the years whether it's a quick hello as Tessa drives up to Portland to see family or during the summer for weekend trips to a lake. Reilly was one of Tessa's bridesmaids at her wedding in 2021. Tessa lives in Concord, CA with her husband Kurt and their dog Rainier. Tessa puts her Digital Design degree to use working at Innersense as a Senior Marketing Associate.

Myranda and Reilly met at OSU-Cascades during Reilly's Senior Year as Welcome Week leaders. The two didn't spend much time together after that due to their classes being very different, Reilly a Human Development and Family Sciences major and Myranda a BioChem major, but the pair slowly started being at the same gatherings and spending more time around one another. By the end of the year the two had grown close and kept in touch despite the distance of Myranda staying in Bend for school and Reilly moving to Vancouver for living and work. Myranda is one of Reilly's ultimate hype queens, will ask you about your zodiac sign within 5 minutes of meeting and gives a bad-ass tarot reading. Myranda not only gifts Reilly rocks, but has been one of Reilly's rocks through everything post-college life has thrown at her. Myranda resides in Hillsboro with her fiancé Mike and their cats Ember and Hemlock. Myranda works at an optometry at a clinic in Beaverton.

Janna and Reilly met a few years back when Reilly relocated to Eugene to live with Blake. Her husband Willem and Blake worked at Springfield Family together and the girls quickly found a joint love for reading as well as just quality girl time.  A plus being her doggo, Kaja, and Bilbo are the best of friends and have numerous weekly playdates together. Janna and Reilly have been on reading weekends together and love to take walks around Waltersville with their pups as well as have baking day where they make specialty cocktails and yummy treats. Janna is a born and raised Midwesterner coming to Oregon a few years back from Wisconsin and now lives up the road from Reilly and Blake in Thurston.  She works in aesthetics as a PA at Oregon Derm in Eugene.

One of Blake's best friends since Childhood through being at Undergrad Blake and Sean have stayed close despite the distance. Sean works as an engineer and currently lives outside Chicago with his wife Alyssa, their son Charlie, and their fur baby McFlurry.

One of Blake's closest friends from childhood all the way through undergrad together. Tim works in banking and currently lives outside Chicago with his wife Becca and their daughter Zoey.

Blake's older brother. Despite an 8 1/2 year age gap Todd and Blake have become closer as the two have gotten older and more settled into adult life. Todd works for the local fire department as an EMT and owns/runs a mowing company with his wife Sammi on his days off. He lives in Chatham with his wife, their kids Kaiden, Kelsie and Crew and their 2 dogs Rip and Major.

Blake's mentor when he was starting his rotations. As Blake was finishing up Alejandro mentioned that a new clinic would be opening and that, if he was interested, he should apply. Towards the end of the year Blake reached out to check if that offer was still on the table and planned one of his last rotations to be back at NWMH so he could get more experience there and interview for a potential job. Blake and Alejandro now work together in their pod downstairs at the Eugene clinic. Alejandro was part of Blake's planning and coordinating for the proposal and officiated Blake and Reilly's elopement in April of 2025.

Blakes undergrad roommate for all 4 years of school. The two have kept in touch through random texts about sports and seeing each other at weddings over the years. Brady currently lives in central Illinois with his fiancé Olivia and their soon to be newborn daughter.

The two met at the PDX airport on their way to look around for where they would be living in Portland/Hillsboro for PA school.  After graduation the two have kept in touch about all of life's big updates and adventures. Andrew works as a hospitalist in Montana.
