Donovan Arndt, better known as D, is a red-headed Wisconsinite. He is C.J.'s college gymnastics teammate, roommate, and best friend. You could call their meeting, and friendship, an act of fate as the two would eventually form a brotherly bond. They met as freshmen over a game of beer pong. They were partners taking on a couple of upper class-men. When they emerged victorious, after a long winded match, they knew they had something. They were partners and friends from that day forward.D and C.J. were always together; they ate together, worked out at practice together, studied together, and were never not laughing about something. If either of them had something going on, they knew they could always count on one another to be there. They became so much like brothers that even C.J.'s facial hair started to turn red!D, I love you man. You are the brother I never had. When we weren't running around campus getting into trouble, you were schooling me on rings in practice. You were, and still are there for me daily, exemplifying a true friend to both Remy and myself. Jenna is Remy's beautiful younger sister. The sisters are only 16 months apart and are constantly asked if they are twins. Which is wonderful for Remy, as she admires Jenna for just about everything she is. When they were younger they always wore the same clothes and if they didn't have the same clothes on, they would have matching colors. (Sorry Jenn, we can't wear the same thing on the big day, just a heads up!) They do everything together and, if they can't be together, they are on the phone together. C.J still doesn't understand why they call each other right after leaving each other's presence!Jenna is Remy's best friend, most trusted critic, and the one person that will laugh at all of her jokes even when they aren't funny! When Jenna met C.J., she immediately liked him for his southern charm, his respect for Remy, and his brotherly instinct towards herself. C.J., Remy, and Jenna became the three musketeers immediately! Louis and C.J. hit it off right from the moment they met each other at The University of Nebraska. So much so, that they would be roommates most of their college careers. The two had each other's backs no matter what; whether it was in the dorms, in classes they had together, at practice, or literally every weekend for four and a half years. You could always find the two cutting up, laughing, and possibly cruising around on the same scooter. The two shared many life experiences and memories that will last a lifetime, and consider each other the brothers they never had.Lou, there are too many good memories for me to ramble on about on this page. All I can say is that I'm glad I have a true friend like you in my life. Nikki is C.J.'s wonderful younger sister and soon-to-be Remy's sister too. The first time Nikki and Remy met was Thanksgiving 2012. C.J. was flying to his home in Texas and Remy was flying to meet him as well as his family for the first time. C.J.'s plane was delayed a couple of hours which meant Remy was going to meet his family for the first time... ALONE! Nikki asked Remy if she would like to go to Starbucks and get to know each other while they waited for C.J.'s plane to arrive. Remy was a little nervous as she knew how close C.J. and Nikki were, but Nikki made her feel like she was her sister already. The rest is pretty much history! Remy and Nikki love to go shopping together, relaxing at the pool on vacation, and listen to country music! Remy got the best end of the deal as she gets another sister and is so excited for Nikki to stand up next to her and C.J. on their big day. Nikki, as I have told you before having a sister is the most wonderful thing. You and I will have that special bond and, the best part is, Jenna comes with the package too! Three muskateers is taken so we will need another team name! I'm so excited to have another sister to share life experiences, adventures, and memories with. I promise to be the best sister I can be to you and you will always be able to count on me. Tayler, or Peruski, or Young Roo, or the snake eater, or Chef Roogufan, or whatever he is calling himself today... is a close friend of CJ's. The two met at the University of Nebraska through a mutual friend (Shannon Klein..now Louis' wife). Tayler was on the track team, although the fastest CJ ever saw him move was downhill on a longboard, or downhill chasing the longboard (some scars never heal). Whether or not he would like to admit it, Tayler enjoyed the company of a few rowdy gymnasts. He was always fairly easy to point out, tallest in the group: the only one wearing at shirt when 1:00am rolled around on the weekends, and often dressed in something from the Salvation Army. Tayler is also credited with the discovery of the mecca of our college days, 3-2-6-9 Leighton Avenue, where he and the gymnasts lived for the latter part of their collegiate experience. C.J. and Tayler bonded over a love for music, creativity and outward thinking. When everyone else could be found in the living room at the party, these two were usually in a basement, attic, or out on the front porch listening to their favorite songs, trying to write lyrics and cracking jokes back and forth.My dude, I am proud to say I have you as a friend. No matter how long it's been since we last saw one another, we pick back up right where we left off. There is literally never a dull moment when we are hanging out, or a time when our sides don't hurt from laughing so hard. Sad to say, there won't be a kitchen for us to get cooking in on the wedding day! None of our famous 3:00am raids from the pantry to create some delicious off the wall meal out of left overs and Ramen noodles. Katelyn is Remy's best friend and golf teammate from University of Nebraska Lincoln. Remy had two reasons for going to Nebraska: the first was to meet her best friend, Katelyn and the second was to meet her soulmate, C.J. Or is it suppose to be the other way around? Katelyn and Remy are almost exactly the same person. In fact, their teammates called them "The Twins." Katelyn is one of those friends that will be so busy for 3 weeks, not call, and then show up on your doorstep and say she is staying for a few days. There are only a few people that come into your life for a reason and Katelyn and Remy came into each other's lives to make each other laugh and drink wine. Gabe Sanchez stole C.J.'s heart with his home-made tacos, before C.J. had met Remy. Better known to C.J. as Sancho, It was Gabe who taught him the art of the Tequila shot. C.J. just wishes he didn't teach it to him so many times in one night!The two were teammates on the Gymnastics team at the University of Nebraska but, beyond that, began hanging outside the gym from the first day they met. Now, Gabe wasn't just friends with anyone. You had to earn your way in. He really didn't like to be touched, so C.J. always had to sneak up behind him to get in a bro hug. But once you proved yourself, and you were in the circle of trust, Gabe's true nature as a friend would emerge. Gabe, I am so lucky to have you as one of my good friends man. You are someone who literally never misses anything when it comes to your friends: birthdays, celebrations, events, times of need, whatever it may be you were there for me and for our whole group. You always had a plan to get us involved in something fun, and would be willing to cancel your own plans if it meant you could be there for someone else's. As a creator, I have always admired your sense of imagination and passion for your craft. Whether it was a Halloween costume, a hand made gift, or a new t-shirt design, you always give 100% of your creativity. As a leader of our team, you led by example and never came in to the gym not giving every last bit of effort you could. I learned a lot from being around you, and am so thankful that you put up with me through a lot of things. You have been there from the beginning of my relationship with Remy. I know you tried to warn her about what she was getting into, but you have always supported us and watched us grow together. Sista Tiff is Remy's adopted sister. The part that makes it funny is that they say they are sisters and people get awfully confused as they really don't look much alike! Remy and Tiffany met in high school at Westlake Golf Club in California. They grew up playing golf for different schools and saw each other at tournaments throughout the season. They didn't become really good friends until after they decided what colleges they would go to as they knew one college couldn't handle ALL their golf talent! Remy and Tiff have remained very close friends throughout their college travels. Sista Tiff is almost finished with medical school. Andreas- Ghandi Hofer is a former Nebraska Gymnastics teammate and link in the chain of "brothers from other mothers." When C.J. came to the University of Nebraska as a Freshman, Andi was an upper class man. The two found themselves quickly getting along in and out of the gym. One of the first encounters they had was when Andi introduced C.J. to the most magical, edible, substances known to man... Nutella! The two formed a strong friendship through the daily struggles of training, and bringing in the weekend once the training was done. Andi was like the older brother C.J. never had. He could always bring C.J. to the right frame of mind in practice, competition, school or just be there to listen when he needed to blow off some steam. Andi, I can honestly say I would not be the man I am today had you not been in my life. Your constant positive influence on me came at a time when I needed it most. You led by example and taught me so much about myself that I didn't even know. You were a role model to me and everyone else that looked up to you. I can't thank you enough for always believing in me, and knowing I could always be better than I was the day before. Thank you for never letting up on me and for pushing me when I needed to be. Most of all, thank you for being a true friend to me over the years. It has been a lot of fun to watch you marry Haley, the love of your life, and see you two embark on your journey. Sista Brit is one of the most fun people to be around. Her goal in this friendship is to make sure C.J and Remy never become an old married couple! Brittany is not only one of Remy's best friends but C.J's too. Brit and C.J would be there for each other in a heartbeat and that makes this friendship even more special. Max Cutler and C.J. quickly became friends after C.J. moved to California to live with Remy. Remy and Max had been childhood friends, and were quite close, so it was only natural for C.J. and Max to hit it off. Max and C.J. spent the weekends cutting loose in the greater Los Angeles area. If there wasn't something to celebrate, they would make something up. They played golf often, occasionally did some work together, went to dinner during their rough weeks... yeah I know what you're thinking... BROMANCE. Kristen and Remy met about 3 years ago at work; they instantly became best friends as they knew they would have each other's back while dressing 30 actors on the set of Days Of Our Lives. Spending 60 hours a week together in a small room under pressure would be tough for anyone, but having your best friend along side makes everything a whole lot more fun! Kristen has the heart of an angel. She never forgets a detail and puts her friends first in everything she does. Jordan Yallen and C.J. met in California in 2015. Jordan and Remy had been friends since they were 10 years old, so it was important to C.J. to get to know him. Little did he know they would get along so well. Throughout CJ's time in L.A., he and Jordan could be found cutting loose on the weekends or planning getaways to Lake Arrowhead. They spitballed ideas for work over coffee, and could always be found talking sports. Jordan, you have played a huge part in Remy's and my relationship as a friend who has consistently given support and advice when I needed it. You have been there for Remy and I whenever we needed you. You helped me advance my career as a designer by allowing me opportunities to hone my craft. As busy as we both have been over the past two years, I'm glad we were able to make the time to hang out as much as we did. Brooke has been one of Remy's closest friends since they met at their summer job while in Nebraska. They worked at Little Kingdom which was a day care for young kiddos of all ages. They were in charge of the same class which consisted of under 1 year olds. They immediately became friends as they made a pact to rotate reading stories and changing diapers when they could! Being blonde, they basically had everything in common! Brooke loved to come out to California when Remy moved back home. Whenever she visited, they easily packed in many wine adventures and beach activities. Robbie is basically Remy and C.J.'s little bother.. except double their height! Remy was Robbie's first and favorite sitter.. EVER. Remy's parents are best friends with Robbie's parents, so the families spend a lot of quality time together. When C.J. came into Remy's life, he naturally got added to the Bill family as well. When Robbie had time off in the summer Remy and C.J. would take Robbie golfing, bowling, boating, and fishing. They love to spend time at the camping in the Santa Ynez Valley with their families as well as attempting to sing karaoke!
