Our Wedding

Some love stories begin with fireworks. Ours began in blue polos at Best Buy… over 20 years ago. We were two young 20-somethings just trying to sell DVD players and maybe flirt on the side. We tried to date back then, but life had other plans — college, moving away, and a solid two decades of radio silence. Fast forward to the Bumble era, when fate (and some decent profile pics) brought us back together. We matched, reconnected, and couldn’t believe we’d found each other again after all that time. From there, everything fell into place in the best possible way. We rekindled our friendship, fell in love, moved in together and were engaged in the summer of 2019. Little did we know, we’d soon be welcoming our first daughter, Avery — the sweetest beginning to our forever. As our family started to grow, so did our need for space, so we bought our first new home mid-pandemic. Not long after, we were blessed with our second daughter, Nora — perfectly timed and perfectly ours. Life has been full, joyful, and a little chaotic ever since — in the best way. We actually got engaged before Avery arrived, but when the world shut down, our dream wedding was put on hold (thanks, COVID). Planning a wedding in a pandemic didn’t quite feel right with a six-foot distance requirement. We figured we’d wait until we could celebrate with hugs, dancing, and a full guest list — the way we always imagined it. And now, here we are. Finally. This wedding isn’t just a celebration of our love, but of the incredible journey we’ve been on: the missed timing, the second chances, the family we’ve built, and the joy of finally making it official — with a whole lot of love (and story) behind us. We may joke that it took us 20 years to get it right — but it was worth every minute. Because some love stories aren’t about perfect timing… they’re about the right person finding you, exactly when they’re meant to.

To make your travel smoother, we recommend planning your drive midday when traffic is lighter. Plan airport arrivals and departures midday or late evening when possible to avoid traffic jams.
