A quick note on Bay Area traffic:

Traffic in the Bay Area can be unpredictable and is almost guaranteed during commute hours. Morning traffic tends to flow westbound, while evening traffic is heavier eastbound—right toward Livermore.

To make your travel smoother, we recommend planning your drive midday when traffic is lighter. Plan airport arrivals and departures midday or late evening when possible to avoid traffic jams. Allow extra buffer time if traveling on Friday or Sunday, as weekend traffic can also spike.
