The Riverfront Walkway and Historic Lift Bridge are only blocks away from the venue, and are a great opportunity for some fall sightseeing! We love being outdoors in the fall, and the riverwalk has both scenery and history. The path is easy to access, with downtown patio bars and restaurants nearby!
For a more adventurous hike, the Stillwater Stairs are located near the venue; a quick climb (5ish minutes of decent cardio) leads to a hillside overlook with views of downtown and the river area.
Downtown stillwater has plenty of tourist shops and interesting things to see. We enjoyed strolling through the downtown main street!
There are so many restaurants, bars and coffee shops with outdoor seating nearby! Plenty are on the river with a view, and nothing beats a Happy Hour by the water. Our favorite spots are River Siren Brewing for crafts by the water, The Freight House for a full menu restaurant with a big patio right by the bridge, and MADE coffee for a sidewalk patio on the main street.
For more ideas of things to do, please check out the Stillwater Tourism website, Discover Stillwater. We have visited in every season and always found enjoyable ways to spend our time there!
