How it all began…

Renee and Craig's story began many years ago. Sparks of love lit their souls long before they fell in love. Renee was a student at the University of Maryland when she met Craig in 2007, who was a friend of her roommate. In the years that followed, they became fast friends and went on regular adventures together. Toward the end of 2010, Craig and Renee lost touch. It had been many years since they last saw each other, even though they remembered each other fondly. Each one traveling their own life's path. It wasn’t until the summer of 2017 that their paths crossed again. Serendipity brought this love together. A well-timed DJ gig coupled with a spur-of-the-moment decision to accept a medic gig at a festival followed by a stroll down the right dirt path brought these two back together. A magical night and morning of conversation ensued and this long-time friendship began to feel like it could be something more. The two planned to go on a first date and explore the possibilities of turning this friendship into a relationship, and with great success. The couple made things official on New Year's of 2018, and now 5 years later they were ready to take the next step. On January 13, 2023, along the beautiful beach line of Costa Rica, Craig on bended knee asked Renee to be his wife and she said yes.
