Rensché and Brandon met at BST CrossFit, during Rensché’s very first intro session. She was nervous, just wanted to blend in with the class, and definitely wasn’t in the mood for small talk or special treatment. What she didn’t know was that Brandon was also new… to this gym. A seasoned CrossFit coach, sure, but still trying to make a solid first impression on his boss. So, when no other newcomers showed up that week, her “small group session” turned into a full-blown one-on-one. Her thoughts? “Great. Arrogant. Gym bro. Probably rates protein shakes five stars.” His thoughts? “She looked at me like I was wasting her time. I was just trying to do my job, perfectly.” Brandon walked her through all the basic movements: squats, kettlebell swings, how not to break yourself. Rensché, doing her best to escape the spotlight, rolled her eyes like a seasoned pro and made it clear she “knew all of this already.” He thought she was full of herself.She thought he was a judgmental jock.So, obviously, sparks flew. After that session, Rensché didn’t come back. Not until she convinced her crew from her previous gym to join, just to avoid another one-on-one disaster. A year later, they came back as a squad.No Intro. No pressure. Just vibes. They trained. They coexisted. There were still eye rolls, but now, they came with a smirk. Then came the South Coast Fitness Festival. Rensché and Jaené signed up as beginners; because, even though Rensché acted like she was a pro, there was no proof and no pudding. Brandon and Kegan also entered, but with ulterior motives the girls would only learn about later.(Spoiler: the boys had already decided the blonde bombshells were their “weekend mission” the moment they saw their names on the registration list.) Somewhere between the nerves, brandy specials and G&amp;Ts, a friendship started forming between the four of them. Kegan and Jaené (now married, you're welcome) kicked things off with a whirlwind romance. Brandon and Rensché?Well… let’s call it resistance with heavy denial. They weren’t fooling anyone. Brandon: “I don’t need a girl.”Rensché: “I don’t chase.”Also Brandon and Rensché: subtly (not so subtle) plotting ways to see each other more under the disguise of “we’re just supporting J&amp;K.” The "accidental" hangouts became regular.The regular turned into constant.They moved to Abu Dhabi together. Built a life together.They travelled, trained, worked, and lived like best friends who… just happened to be mad about each other. Brandon never asked Rensché to be his girlfriend.Because, well, it was already official. But he did plan the perfect proposal. One snowy afternoon in the mountains of Gudauri, Georgia, with huskies, a wolf, and a sleigh, he asked her to be his wife. She said yes.Obviously.There were dogs involved.And he is the prettiest man alive.

Their phone calls last 30 seconds, but their stories? Never-ending. If you end up in one of his conversations, prepare to be entertained. 

Waylon

The rock. The organiser. The one "telling" the waiter (respectfully).
If there’s a plan, she made it. If there’s champagne, she brought it.
She manages the bridal gown, and likely the makeup artist, flowers, and the DJ.
Loud, loving, and always in charge, just how we like her.



Colette

AKA "The Crane". The competitor.
Perpetually trying to outlift Brandon (we respect the hustle).
Deep thinker with a heart as big as his muscles. The guy you call when you need real talk or a quick beer (even on Zoom). Also: married to Jaené, so he’s stuck with us forever.

Kegan

The truth-teller. The stylist. The sharp one with a full schedule and flawless outfit.
Always ready for a new tattoo. Horoscope guru (she’s a Cancer, so emotions run deep), and the one who said “R&B is endgame” way before anyone else did.
Rensché didn’t doubt her for a second.

Roxanne

Not the guy you call when you’re in trouble, he’s probably the one who got you into it (more than once). But you’re definitely having a great time (every time). Full-time hunter. Professional golfer. Serial entrepreneur. Connector, Entertainer, and the one who keeps life interesting (and just a little unhinged).

Tiaan

The quiet force. The do-er. The calm in the chaos.
When Rensché packed up her life, Reinette handled it.
When family business needed help, Reinette stepped in.
She listens. She carries. She gives.
She’s soft power wrapped in beauty, the yin to Rensché’s yang.

Your presence means more to us than any present. Since we live in Abu Dhabi, we won’t be able to take gifts back with us, unless they’re really small or can fit into an envelope.
