Our Wedding

This is us! Raised only towns apart, just close enough to meet. While starting to get to know each other in 2020, Blake and I had quickly realized that our paths almost crossed multiple times in the past. Having the same morals, goals, goofy personalities, passions, and crazy ideas Blake took me on a trip to go see the frozen water falls in MI and asked me to be his girlfriend only after we hiked to the base of a frozen waterfall. I then got to meet his beautiful baby girl and his amazing family. Just a few short 6 months later we found out we were welcoming another little peanut into the world. A couple of months before Audrey’s first birthday, my sisters family and ours took a trip out to Yellowstone, where Blake took us all on a hike to climb to the base of a waterfall where he then proposed. 3 years have come and gone, while being crazy and challenging we have over come mountains, crossed rivers, accomplished goals and have been blessed with so much and we can’t wait to see what forever has in store. June 29th is the day we can’t wait to share the beginning of our forever!

What is the latest date I can RSVP?   We are so excited for our big day. Your presence would mean the world to us! Please take a moment to let us know if you can attend by filling out the online RSVP form on our wedding website no later than June 1, 2024. Each and every invitee holds a special place in our hearts and we want to be certain we are able to accommodate everyone.     How should I dress?  We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! Whether it is is dressy casual or semi formal, watch the weather and dress in your favorite outfit. For this time of year in Northern Wisconsin, the following attire may be suggested but not required: Women: sundresses, cocktail-length dresses, or lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels for the outdoor ceremony and reception on the lawn. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional. Whatever you choose to wear, come ready to let loose and have a good time celebrating the joining of our families!     Can I bring my own alcohol?   Per venue policy there is not to be any alcohol brought in to the event, but do not fret! The venue will have a full bar available for all guests to be able to purchase their favorite alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the entire evening.     Where should we plan to stay?  If you go tot he TRAVEL tab on the home page of our wedding website you can see all the places and information we have reserved for our guests.   Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?  There will be a shuttle bus to and from the hotels and venue for the guests that choose to stay in Siren. Guest that choose to stay in Spooner will be out of reach for the shuttle bus. The shuttle bus will be done bussing people back to the hotels no later than 11:00pm.    Am I allowed to bring a plus one?   Yes you can bring ONE plus one. We have accounted for one plus one for singles and for family we have accounted for the whole family including children. Please remember to add the guest you are bringing when you RSVP. We ask that you add all children over the age 1 so we can make sure they also have a spot at the table!    Where should I bring/send a wedding gift?   You can bring them to the venue or you can have them shipped to 10564 N Riverside Rd, Hayward, WI 54843, but don’t feel like a gift is necessary. Your presence is more of a gift than anything!   What time should I arrive at the ceremony?  We ask that people try to arrive 5-10 minutes early so that they can get settled in and aren’t running in while the bridal party is starting to make their entrances. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm sharp.    What time does the reception end? Will there be an after party?   Reception is ending at 11:00 there for there will not be an after party.    Am I allowed to take pictures at the Ceremony?  We ask that no pictures be taken at the ceremony. We have a very talented photographer and videographer that will be taking pictures for all of us. We are okay with pictures and videos after the ceremony is done.   Can I post wedding pictures on social media?   Yes, share the love! There is a two night minimum stay at the Best Western in Siren. The flat rate goes up by $10 per person. 2 Adults and 3 kids is room capacity. They will hold the room blocks up until 45 days before the wedding and/or until May 15th. There will be an itinerary posted at the front desk, weekend of, for those that would like to be picked up and dropped off before the ceremony and after the reception by the bus. This itinerary will have pick up and drop off times for the duration of the day and what time everything starts.

Best Western Northwoods Lodge 

This is the ceremony site. The owner of the venue (Kelsey) allows guest to camp in their field. She does NOT have hook ups for electric or sewer nor specific camping sites. This is for tents or campers if you’d rather not drive after or if you’d rather not spend the money on hotels. You can put tents up during reception or bring your camper to the venue day of. Kelsey requests that all guest vacate at 10:00 am sharp so she can turn over the venue.

This itinerary will have pick up and drop off times for the duration of the day and what time the events start.

The Lodge at Crooked Lake

There is a two night minimum stay for The Best-Western in Spooner. There is a 4 person maximum for these rooms. They will hold the room blocks up until 30 days before the wedding and/or until May 30th. There will be an itinerary posted at the front desk for the duration/times of when events start. The bus will NOT be picking or dropping people off at this hotel. If wanted/needed you will need to plan your own transportation to and from the venue if staying in Spooner.

With July 4th rounding the corner fire works are a huge hit the weekend before! AKA our wedding weekend. For the travelers if you were wanting to get out fire works are in all the surrounding towns!
