I have quite literally known this girl since middle school, Marcela and I have grown up together and during the summers we didn’t remain apart for very long. Her family has embraced me and practically treats me as one of their own. Through thick and thin, achievements and heartbreaks, Marcela has been there to distract me with her weird love of romcoms and books. I am truly able to be myself around her and am blessed to have her as my friend, whether we are arguing about navigating the subway system of New York or just sitting in her room in utter silence for an hour– I am happy that it’s with her. Beautiful and riddled with ADHD, Marcela is the brightest spark in my life and she will always be my sister and best friend.

Christina was one of our amazing coworkers who quickly became friends with the both of us, she is a big reason this wedding is happening! Christina played a part in Kito and I getting together, giving us the confidence to actually speak to each other beyond the occasional and very shy “hey…”. I’ve never met a more genuine person and am more than lucky to have her as a friend. She is an amazing woman and has a unique personality that draws you in and a free thinking mind that I adore. She is a woman devoted to friends and family and treats everyone she meets with kindness and compassion no matter what, yet another quality I love about her. Christina is a loyal friend and one of the best kinds of people to have in your corner.

Introducing Jordan, aka my soulmate! One of my best friends at work and a constant companion of our endless spirals of anxiety and sessions of overthinking into mania. A beautiful soul both inside and out, Jordan has been a gentle voice and a real genuine friend through the years- many times we have both fought against our own inner demons that begged us to call out of work only to find that the other was scheduled to work and suddenly we both have a will to live. The years of Jordan finding Kito, only to ask him “where’s Rey?” And the many times Kito has worked mind numbing double shifts, rushed home to pick me up to take me to my shift just for me to ask “is my love there?” Only proves our level of devotion towards our friendship. Never before has there been a woman more kind and compassionate, she is my muse and deserves the world and I see it as a blessing to have her by my side on not just my wedding day but all the days leading up and beyond.

First child, absolute demon spawn, will probably eat the rings rather than deliver them, likes Cheetos. Will adore you the first time he meets you then bite your elbows the second time, is in love with Grandma. Hobbies include: Eating things that aren't supposed to be ingested, parkour, playing with his shredded up toy squirrel and growling at anyone who tries to take it, teaching bad habits, eating bubbles from mom's bath, begging for coconut oil.

Second child, an absolute saint, stinky, Anakin’s favorite chew toy, she can't meow properly and she's a bit of a drama queen but we love her anyways. Always there for pets and love, and she's always been a great cuddle bug. Hobbies include: Puncturing the caps of water bottles, hiding from Anakin on top of the cabinets, begging Kito for booty smacks, snorting cat nip and bird watching.

Our third, the sweetest big baby ever, gentle and loving, Jack is the bridge between the other two demons. A cat who could do no wrong in the eyes of his mother. His favorite hobbies include: napping on the couch, pets from mama, playing with his blue sparkly toy, napping under his green blanky, climbing into the trashcan, napping on mama.
