Our Wedding

We have been best friends since meeting for the first time on the bus in middle school. It wasn't until junior year of high school that we finally admitted our feelings for one another. Since then, we have survived long distance in college, moved to a new state, traveled the world, and adopted our fur baby Toby. We have loved doing life together for the last 8 years and know the best is still yet to come. We cannot wait to celebrate our love with you!

We have contracted a set number of rooms for guests of the Kaiser-LaPorta wedding at a discounted rate for 11/21-11/23. This location is half a mile from the venue. Transportation

The Kansas City Streetcar runs through the heart of the city down Main Street. Must See KC Places

Union StationA beautiful and historical train station with restaurants, exhibits, and Science City. This is a staple of Kansas City and beautiful to walk through or grab some food/coffee at. The World War One Memorial Located right across from Union Station, this is a great museum to walk through if you are a history buff, but it also has one of the most popular views of the city.

Crossroads Arts DistrictThis is the area we will be getting married in! A very popular area for restaurants, boutiques, and art studios. This is where Riley's favorite coffee shop PT's Coffee is located. Up Down is a popular arcade bar in the Crossroads as well. River MarketThis area has lots of amazing food options. This area is home to the City Market which houses many types of international cuisines and shops. A very fun and casual area to walk around and experience food/culture near the Missouri River. Riley and James have had many date nights at Harry's Country Club. Power and Light DistrictIf you're looking for a fun night out, this is the most popular destination. It is an area surrounded by a lot of different bars that hosts many events/live music. Located in downtown KC near the T-Mobile Center where many concerts are held. The Country Club PlazaIf you are looking for shopping this place has it! A very cute and popular outdoor shopping district with local and popular stores. Home to the famous Plaza Lights during the holiday season.
