Jake lived his whole life in Henderson County with his Dad, Sister, Grandma (Mamaw), and Grandpa (Papaw). Jake graduated from Henderson County High School in 2017 and went to the local Community College for a year. He then went to the University of Southern Indiana in 2018 with a major in Business.

Riley lived her entire life in Hamilton County with her four loving Parents, two Sisters, and her younger Brother. Riley graduated from Carmel High School in 2018. That following Fall, she decided to attend USI with an Education major.

Riley and Jake met in college at USI in 2019. They met through mutual friends. They started hanging out and doing activities together. Jake asked Riley out on February 1st. They finally had their first date on Valentine's Day at Zuki Japanese Sushi Lounge. Additionally, it has been their tradition ever since.

As the years went on, Jake and Riley moved in together in their first apartment in late 2020. Their love grew stronger daily as they continued doing small things together. Jake and Riley eventually moved into a house in 2021. By 2022 they owned their house and got their first dog.

Riley planned for them to have pictures taken on New Years Eve in 2022. The photographer took them to the River Front in Downtown Evansville. She kept snapping away then abruptly the camera “stopped working”. Riley was trying to help while Jake gave the signal. Riley eventually turned around. Jake was on one knee and popped the question. Needless to say, Riley said yes. They met up with each others families. To end the night, Jake and Riley ate in a secluded room at Zuki.

We cannot wait to celebrate with you at our ceremony and reception in September!
