Our Wedding

It&nbsp;all&nbsp;started&nbsp;Circa&nbsp;2012,&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;working&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;pharmacy&nbsp;giving&nbsp;out&nbsp;medications&nbsp;to&nbsp;our&nbsp;crazy&nbsp;patients&nbsp;and&nbsp;low&nbsp;and&nbsp;behold&nbsp;a&nbsp;stocky&nbsp;built&nbsp;ginger&nbsp;walks&nbsp;in&nbsp;accompanied&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;blonde&nbsp;chick.&nbsp;We&nbsp;immediately&nbsp;locked&nbsp;eyes&nbsp;,&nbsp;I&nbsp;saw&nbsp;him&nbsp;looking&nbsp;at&nbsp;me&nbsp;with&nbsp;those&nbsp;bright&nbsp;ocean&nbsp;blue&nbsp;daydreamers&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;don't&nbsp;know&nbsp;what&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;but&nbsp;I&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;take&nbsp;my&nbsp;eyes&nbsp;off&nbsp;him.&nbsp;&nbsp;I&nbsp;rang&nbsp;him&nbsp;out&nbsp;as&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;as&nbsp;possible&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;wouldn't&nbsp;notice&nbsp;me&nbsp;smiling&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;inside.&nbsp;Talk&nbsp;about&nbsp;butterflies&nbsp;in&nbsp;my&nbsp;stomach.&nbsp;As&nbsp;he&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;lady&nbsp;I&nbsp;assumed&nbsp;was&nbsp;his&nbsp;girlfriend&nbsp;walked&nbsp;away&nbsp;he&nbsp;tuned&nbsp;around&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;another&nbsp;glance&nbsp;at&nbsp;me&nbsp;before&nbsp;hitting&nbsp;that&nbsp;corner.&nbsp;From&nbsp;that&nbsp;moment&nbsp;I&nbsp;knew&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;be&nbsp;my&nbsp;gentlemen&nbsp;lover.&nbsp;Throughout&nbsp;my&nbsp;employment&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;pharmacy&nbsp;Brian&nbsp;made&nbsp;multiple&nbsp;visits&nbsp;which&nbsp;then&nbsp;lead&nbsp;to&nbsp;us&nbsp;exchanging&nbsp;phone&nbsp;numbers,&nbsp;&nbsp;to&nbsp;multiple&nbsp;dates&nbsp;(even&nbsp;in&nbsp;staircases),&nbsp;to&nbsp;moving&nbsp;in&nbsp;together&nbsp;,&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;proposal,&nbsp;till&nbsp;now!&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;excited&nbsp;for&nbsp;this&nbsp;next&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;lives&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;build&nbsp;together&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;look&nbsp;forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;taking&nbsp;his&nbsp;last&nbsp;name.

Bride's Story

I met&nbsp; Rita when she was working as a pharmacy technician just down the street from my apartment in Minneapolis. It didn't feel like anyone else was in the room and I remember her beautiful smile. To be honest, I would make an effort to go to the clinic more often, rather than consolidate my appointments to see if I could catch another glimpse. We started talking, over time, and I loved her positivity, her smile, and the fact that she lights up the room wherever she goes.

&nbsp;Then... I moved away. I kept thinking about her and what might have been.&nbsp;

We reconnected a year later and the same sparks were undeniable. I took her out on a few dates (I was persistent), spent our time together, and fell in love. It was difficult, at first, being further apart than we liked. I was in Rochester and she was in Minneapolis, until she was able move down to the area six months later. Fast forward to a few years later and I am still being caught catching another glimpse. I still look forward to her smiles everyday.&nbsp;

Mr.&nbsp;Franklin&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;first&nbsp;met&nbsp;working&nbsp;together&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;juvenile&nbsp;correctional&nbsp;facility&nbsp;in&nbsp;Duluth,&nbsp;MN.&nbsp;They&nbsp;bonded&nbsp;over&nbsp;philosophical&nbsp;views,&nbsp;values&nbsp;of&nbsp;hard&nbsp;work&nbsp;&&nbsp;determination,&nbsp;and&nbsp;gangsta&nbsp;rap&nbsp;music.&nbsp;Eric&nbsp;lives&nbsp;in&nbsp;Duluth,&nbsp;MN&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;wife&nbsp;and&nbsp;two&nbsp;boys.&nbsp;Eric&nbsp;owns&nbsp;two&nbsp;businesses&nbsp;as&nbsp;an&nbsp;accomplished&nbsp;fitness&nbsp;expert,&nbsp;lifestyle&nbsp;coach,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;certified&nbsp;hypnotist.&nbsp;

Tony&nbsp;&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom's&nbsp;paternal&nbsp;(first)&nbsp;cousin,&nbsp;however;&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;not&nbsp;met&nbsp;until&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;his&nbsp;mid&nbsp;20s.&nbsp;The&nbsp;pair&nbsp;found&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;early&nbsp;days&nbsp;of&nbsp;Facebook,&nbsp;met&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;bar,&nbsp;and&nbsp;were&nbsp;great&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;roommates&nbsp;within&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks.&nbsp;Tony&nbsp;continues&nbsp;to&nbsp;live&nbsp;in&nbsp;Duluth,&nbsp;MN.&nbsp;He&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;male&nbsp;nurse,&nbsp;and&nbsp;has&nbsp;two&nbsp;teenage&nbsp;children,&nbsp;and&nbsp;enjoys&nbsp;diet&nbsp;coke.&nbsp;He&nbsp;has&nbsp;recently&nbsp;retired&nbsp;a&nbsp;Captain&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;U.S.&nbsp;Army&nbsp;Reserves.

Anthony "Tony" Flick 

Matt&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;met&nbsp;while&nbsp;teammates&nbsp;when&nbsp;playing&nbsp;semiprofessional&nbsp;football&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;Duluth-Superior&nbsp;Shoremen&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;MidAmerica&nbsp;Football&nbsp;League&nbsp;in&nbsp;2003.&nbsp;Soon&nbsp;after,&nbsp;they&nbsp;worked&nbsp;together&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;group&nbsp;home&nbsp;for&nbsp;individuals&nbsp;with&nbsp;brain&nbsp;injuries&nbsp;and&nbsp;continued&nbsp;to&nbsp;build&nbsp;their&nbsp;friendship.&nbsp;&nbsp;They&nbsp;shared&nbsp;a&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;football&nbsp;and&nbsp;"making&nbsp;memories"&nbsp;out&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;town.&nbsp;Matthew&nbsp;has&nbsp;three&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;young&nbsp;children,&nbsp;all&nbsp;boys,&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;loves&nbsp;to&nbsp;spend&nbsp;time&nbsp;with.&nbsp;He&nbsp;currently&nbsp;works&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;BNSF&nbsp;railroad.

Joe&nbsp;first&nbsp;met&nbsp;the&nbsp;groom&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;summer&nbsp;of&nbsp;2018&nbsp;when&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;a&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;friend&nbsp;in&nbsp;Minneapolis.&nbsp;Joe&nbsp;is&nbsp;originally&nbsp;from&nbsp;Duluth,&nbsp;MN&nbsp;and&nbsp;now&nbsp;lives&nbsp;and&nbsp;works&nbsp;as&nbsp;an&nbsp;underwriter&nbsp;in&nbsp;Tempe,&nbsp;AZ.&nbsp;He&nbsp;has&nbsp;a&nbsp;handsome&nbsp;young&nbsp;son&nbsp;of&nbsp;which&nbsp;he&nbsp;loves&nbsp;very&nbsp;much.&nbsp;Joe&nbsp;enjoys&nbsp;knitting&nbsp;blankets&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;homeless&nbsp;in&nbsp;his&nbsp;spare&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;attempting&nbsp;to&nbsp;match&nbsp;with&nbsp;everyone&nbsp;possible&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;Bumble&nbsp;Dating&nbsp;App&nbsp;so&nbsp;he&nbsp;has&nbsp;"more&nbsp;options"&nbsp;when&nbsp;he&nbsp;is&nbsp;lonely.&nbsp;
