Summer-friendly fabrics, shades of blue, cool tones, earthy neutrals, and gold accents will create great harmony with our color palette and serene atmosphere. We want you to feel comfortable as we capture moments together (think family photos). If possible, please avoid bright or bold colors such as reds or oranges. Consider footwear that will be suitable for walking on grass.

The ceremony will be held outside in the stunning nature of the Japanese Garden and we’ll be in the cozy white tent for the reception. Please keep in mind you will be subject to the elements. Rain location for the ceremony will be the tented reception area.

To keep our wedding as intimate as possible while accommodating our large family, please do not bring a plus one unless indicated on your invitation. If having a plus one would make you feel more comfortable attending, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

We want all members of the family to enjoy our special day - if your kids will too, that’s great! And if you’d rather leave your kiddos at home, that’s fine, too. Please use your best judgement.

We want our wedding to be a warm and welcoming atmosphere during our elevated & romantic back-yard garden-party-like celebration. We’re excited to spend the evening with close friends and family amongst the greenery and beneath the starry skies.
